2 best - Juninho & debatable about the other... Slaven or Hendrie possibly.
2 worst - Michael Ricketts and Lee Don Gook.

Two best - Eddie Johnson and Eddie Johnson.

No need to do two worst, Eddie Johnson cancels them out.

Forgot to do mine.

Best 2:

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake - £1.5m from Plymouth in January 2008 (35 goals in 56 apps)
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has, since he joined in January 2008, been a goal machine. He joined from Plymouth where he had already managed 11 league goals in the 2007-08 season, and he managed to bag 12 more for Wolves taking his tally for that season to 23 league goals, handing him the golden boot for 07-08 pipping Baggies Kevin Phillips to the prize by one goal. He began the 2008-09 season well, scoring 9 goals in our opening 13 league games. This season he's already managed 22 league goals, meaning he is only 1 away from the total he reached last season. Dispite costing £1.5m, he's been worth every penny and he has already said he wants to stay at Wolves and become a Molineux legend.

Steve Bull - £65k from West Bromwich Albion in November 1986 (250 goals in 475 apps)
Well before my time, but I had to put him in. Coming from our bitter rivals the Baggies for a bargain £65,000, Steve Bull is without a shadow of a doubt a Wolves legend. In the 13 years he was at the club, he broke 4 goalscoring records and he now has a stand at Wolves named after him. A number of top class clubs were interested in signing him, including Aston Villa, Coventry City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Ajax, PSG, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Liverpool, Rangers, Lazio, Boca Juniors, Newcastle United, Juventus and Genoa. Such a loyal player and great footballer in general.
Other notable good signings:
Derek Dougan (March 1967 - 50k from Leicester City)
Michael Kightly (January 2007 - Loan move made permanent from Grsys Athletic)

Worst 2:

Freddy Eastwood - £1.5m from Southend in July 2007 (3 goals in 31 apps)
He started off impressively for us, scoring 3 goals in his first month with us to be named Championship Player of the Month for August. However his form dried up in the next few months, eventually only scoring 3 goals in 31 apperances. He was then sold to Coventry City in July 2008 for £1.2m. It's not that he was **** so to speak, it's just that he didn't get a good run of games and that caused him to lose his confidence and lose his scoring touch.

I have no idea who to put here lol.

Steve Bull was a legend, I completely agree with you!

Everton hmm, I'm gonna do it based on the Moyes rein.

The best, Arteta, Cahill, Jagielka and Howard - cuz tbh all their prices were brilliant other teams wouldn't have given Cahill or Jags a chance in their team.

The Worst, has to be Van Der Mayde, he's a fantastic player don't get me wrong but mistakes both off the field and getting injured has led to him only playing a few games...most of them being friendlys.

Best:

Ian Wright: Signed from Crystal Palace for £2.5m in 1991, went on to score 185 goals for us.

Thierry Henry: Signed as a winger from Juventus in 1998 and went on to become one of the best in the world, score over 200 goals for Arsenal and is our all-time leading goalscorer.

Worst:

Lassana Diarra: Signed from Chelsea for £5.5m and was an amazing waste of money. Made only 7 premiership appearances, doing practically nothing in them. Sold to Portsmouth within 4months. Later went on to sign for Real Madrid for £20m which I still don't understand :S

Francis Jeffers: Signed for £8m and was amazingly bad. All I have to say about Jeffers.

7 premiership appearances says it all. He barely had a chance- he was cracking at Pompey.

Best Players -

Poul Hubertz (2007) - Danish striker, hugely popular with the fans, scored tons of goals and created them too. A FAN FAVOURITE.
Mark Bunn (2006-2008) - Fantastic keeper, with huge talent, is currently at Blackburn but on-loan to Leicester, one to look out for in the future.
Adebayo Akinfenwa ( 2007-Present) Typical oldern-day striker, strong and his unorthodox style is a pleasure to watch.

Worst - Leon Constantine ( 2008- Present) Wow?! Puts in no effort at all, is meant to be a striker yet has only scored 3 or so goals this season. Doesn't even look interested when playing, even gets booed by the faithful! The sooner we offload this donkey the better.

Best - The great dane peter schemical. Vidic and evra also bargains but too many to pick the best two. Diego Forlan and O'shea purley becuase of their goals against the scouse ;)

Worst - Taibi and liam miller. Veron would be the biggest waste of money but had some brillaint champs league games but didnt fit into the team.

Mentioned evra and vidic! Nani has not really impressed (although showing potential) , and anderson really needs more time and playing time to become one of the best.

O'Shea is now a United legend now ;)!

Forlan is no way near a bad player, just not adapted to the prem, will always have a place in my heart "he came from Uraguay he made the scouses cry ooohhh Dieggooo!" :P

Forlan is ****.
Not really, he's been a good goalscorer for all his clubs (Independiente, Villarreal, Atletico Madrid) apart from United where he did still manage 10 goals.

I'd throw in Keane, Sheringham, Ginola, Klinsmann and Ferdinand for best signings in the last 10 years or so.

Worst, Spurs have had so many.

Why Fabio :S?
His first game he was praised immensly, he has played 3 reserve games since then and scored 1 goal, and he's only played once in the first team in an FA Cup game against Spurs because of a shoulder injury, and he was taken off because of another injury in that game. He's a decent player.
Also it's funny that those signings have all happened in the last 5/6 years :P.

Fernando Morientes and Vorinin and Robbie Keane - not worth that price tag

He's still a good player and once he's back up on his feet again he'll be back in United's good books ;).

So your saying that anyone over 20 mil should score everytime they get a chance, when they play about 1 game a month :S

Best: Hughie McIlmoyle. Club legend and widely considered to be our best ever player. Had 3 stints at the club on the 60s/70s.
Many others that I've been able to see: Michael Bridges, Karl Hawley, Keiren Westwood, Kevin Gray, Leon Osman, Andy Preece, Peter Murphy.
Others from the youth team too: Matt Jansen, Rory Delap.

There are also others from before my time that are told were good too ;)

Worst: Mark Rivers and then just about anyone Roddy Collins signed for us in the early 00's

Well theres been plenty more injury prone players than fabio at United. Hargo and saha to name just two. Your opinion is daft especially considering that fabio has had one injury which was unfortunate and the money he was bought for was peanuts compared to hargo n saha.
