why not get at HMV for £30 with a guitar?
I wouldn't bother if I was you, it's not an easy 1k so you wont get much out of it. :)
Just want something fun to play cod and halo get repetitive and ive not quite got used to tf2 yet and i wasnt very good at it when i played it before so it would be nice to get better.
Ill check the HMV one.

Its rubbish without a guitar
Its rubbish without a guitar
I play with the guitar and the controller, seriously, the only difference is one you strum and the other you don't, it doesn't change anything else.
Its no fun without a guitar tho

Yes it is, it's exactly the same, they just require different motions.
No, you got 4 fingers on the guitar and on the controller your holding the controller so you got 1 or 2 fingers spare

So? It's not exactly any easier.
Don't like the guitar anyway.

The guitar is much easier than the controller. If you get 50 notes in about 5 seconds, try pressing the left/right trigger/button down 50 times in 5 seconds. You'll just fail the song.

Couldn't pass a song on easy anyway :( Just want practice/fun.

It's actually possible, on expert the notes move just fast enough for you to tap the button quick enough but it's really hard to keep the with the song when you actually do.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible for songs such as Through the Fire and Flames which took about 8 months for someone to get 100% on guitar; and The Devil went down to Georgia; which, as far as I know, nobody has got 100% on guitar. They're really, really hard songs.

Guitar is way easyer...

Thats the point im trying to make.
Controller Hero 3 hehe :P

Depends on the song, if it was Cliffs of Dover I would slay you on expert with the controller, if it was Knights of Cydonia it's near impossible for controller.
Also it's called guitar hero because in the game you play as a guiarist, it's not because the controller is a guitar.
Rock Band is because you can play as every member of the band, doesn't mean you have to play drums, guitar, bass and vocals all at the same time every time you play the game.
But the whole point of Guitar Hero is playing with a guitar smart arse.

Yea those songs are like impossible on controller on expert. xD

No, the point is you play AS a guitarist WITHIN the game, the guitar controller is an optional piece of hardware, the game really isn't that different if you use the controller, some songs are harder, some are easier, you don't have to strum or move your hand all the time but that's it, it's the same GAME, which is what he wants, since the controller is optional that means you don't have to use it, which means using the guitar isn't the main focus of the whole game.

The point of the game is GUITAR hero not Controller hero
they put hard songs in the game to be played with a GUITAR not a CONTROLLER
