I've included advantages disadvantages and cost so yer tell me what you think :)

I tried that with my last girlfriend, she wouldnt get out the car untill I picked her up and took her out, she thought I was gonna throw her out and lock the doors and not let her back in... Not that i've ever done that before :P :eusa_whis

i came back with my hair and clothes soaked cus the grass was so wet, and he basically wrestled me down the hill then kissed me, and i was like :D

but he locked me out of his car and drove off for a laugh outside mcdonalds and this guy i know saw me and asked why i was running round the carpark the next day ;\ lmao.

How is a cinema good first day? Rly, you sit in a dark room for 2 hours not been able to really speak, if you your to scared to hold her hand / put your arm round / kiss her outside.. Then, well you have problems.

Yer the cinema idea had crossed my mind but after having a realy bad and particularly awkward first date in the cinema I decided to leave it out. It probably could work for the right person tho :D

Btw I like the walking around idea might try that sometime.

I think it depends on the type of movie you go see.. if it's a scary one, I totally use it as an excuse to cuddle up with the guy and clutch his arm when i'm scared. And then for pretty much any movie I like to make occasional witty comments about the movie/characters to him (unless he seems like the type who hates talking during movies!). Ive had quite a few first dates that were to the cinemas and went well thanks to that.. :) Makes for good conversation later on if you run out of things to say too ("oh man, i can't stop thinking about how blah blah did blah blah").

Jen, couples going off somewhere alone to spend some time together counts as a date, just because its not at the cinema or in some fancy resteraunt doesn't ulter the purpose.

ok thanks for explaining what a date was because i'm clearly inexperienced there and need to know what it is.

Usually a date occurs when it's someone trying to make an impression before becoming a couple then they usually don't bother and if they do then what a great partner they must make. I don't see why it's called dating when you don't actually have dates but nevermind i clearly don't know anything! :)

i go on 'dates' hehe. but u dont say "Lets go on a date"
its just like, "fancy doing something"

and best first 'date' in my oponion is just going somewher quiet for a couple of drinks because then you can actually sit down and chat and get to no the person and find out if u actually like each other.
