Spoiler Below About Ending

The Couple at the end, under the bridge and sadly the bridge gets blown up and they die in the rubble. Then it cuts to their video camera like 1 month before and if you see carefully and on youtube you can see the monster is falling in the water...

Satellite, guess the people on youtube community got it wrong. It werent the monster :D but I know the monster was down their for thousands of years and also I heard that is the baby monster and that the daddy and mummy are much bigger

Yeah I heard that, the makers wanted the monster to react more like a frightened just born child rather than an evil monster ravaging through Mahattan, if you watch the film thinking its a frightened child, it seems to behave differently (at least it does to me :)).

I have seen pretty much all of it apart from the last 20 minutes or so, thought it was okay. Great when they were in the subway and they put the night vision on and those little monsters where on the roof of the subway, creeped me out.

The best part of the film is where The Statue of Liberty's head comes flying down right in front of them, it made me feel like I was there the way it was filmed.

I hope Cloverfield 2 comes out :P

Thought it was great, loved how the 'home video' camera was used all the way through and how it's quite an original story line that lets you make up your own ending :P

I didnt really like Diary of the Dead which was the same idea, except with zombie's.. Really lame..

I suppose its an ok film. Slow starting, takes a while to get into. The ending is a bit sudden, and I was left feeling "is that it?".
