Member of the month?

"Help-fullest member of the month"


And Im saying this because people post in a teen section once a week or something and not often so they cant win member of the month from one thing, So I think this would be great jot down notes about member who are kind, and helpful toward other forum member and they have to be helpful not just like "Oh your foot hurts? Rest it" They have to give good advice

Noo im talking about someone whos really helpful and posts like one time in a section and like a week later they check back, Because it seems to be people who post alot like me who wins every month lol


Becuase I check teens and stuff and there so many helpful posts but I dont see them post back there for ages and they advice helped alot.

actually i've noticed the people that win MOTM teens section are people that don't often post there or if they do it's not a lot yet you get people who post good advice when they can :P

And its helpfullest member so It doesnt matter if they did post once but as long as it was a very helpful post then i suppose thats alright

Its like every other section, you post once and get MOTM, but the people who post loadssss don't get it.

I can't see why that would be the case - it doesn't cost them anything at all.

I think it's a bit unfair on members who post in a variety of forums to have forum-specific MOTMs - then again, I don't like the idea as a whole. If it must continue, I think it would be better to have a slightly more democratic method of selection...

How about we scrap forum-specific awards, and instead use ideas like "Moderators' Member of the Month", "Administrators' Member of the Month", "Member's Member of the Month", "Pixel Artist of the Month", "Staff Member of the Month" etc., voted for by their relevant sections of the forum populace, instead?

Great Idea but people wont like it because that means they will have even lesser of a chance of getting MOTM, But none the less still good :) should pm nvrspk4 about it

I think he normally does read most of the topics in this forum - and yeah, I just meant there should be different prerequisites to win Member of the Month, so people who don't post much, but are always courteous and report a lot of rule-breaking posts, or people who are always helpful across the forums, can win something.

The staff, I've found, know the memberbase very well, I'm sure they'd spot anyone going above-and-beyond for the forum :)
