After the final total was given at 2.11am last night, it has been confirmed that Comic Relief has rasied an outstanding..

£57,809,938!

Unbelieveable amount. It was a great show aswell.

AFAIK, during the show they do not receive any money from the events organised throughout the previous months - that total is purely from calls and donations throughout the evening. Then the money collected from individuals across the UK and sales from the online shop are accumulated. This I do not know, though, so please don't take my word for it.

as schools will not have there totals until tomorrow probably so then they send cheques tot hem whichll be like a week

Kilimanjaro and a few other events before the night were added to the total. So it's probabably donations from companies and people left.

Yeah your right but the total from "Lets Dance for comic relief" which finished tonight I think needs to be added to that total and obviously from schools and any work places that did some events.
