Who's your team playing?
Wolves host Charlton at Molineux in a top vs bottom clash where we really can't afford a banana peel slip up. With Reading hosting Ipswich and Donnie playing at home against Birmingham in the late kick-off, there's a real good possibility that we could be 6 points clear come the end of the day :D. Saying that we will be 6 points clear if we beat Charlton before Donnie-Birmingham kick off ;).
just a small relegation clash with pompey :(.

at home. Live on Sky. Interestingly, or not so depending on what you think, this will only be our second time on Sky as opposed to Birmingham's 10th. Hmmm.

Everton away, not sure about it but players seem confident we can steal a win and atleast a draw.

Alot of early goals in the Prem, not so many in the Championship.

Our game is tomorrow. Fairly confident as well, we're on good form as of late and City have been underperforming all season away from home. We should give a couple players rests, we've had 2 games a week for the past few weeks or so, and it's important to keep them in check for the Champions League and FA Cup which in my opinion are far more realistic challenges than the Premiership in my opinion.
I'll go for a 2-1 Chelsea win, with Anelka and Kalou getting the goals. Comon Chels!

we were disgraceful.
the only half decent player for us was leabitter, who had an excelent game. our defence was dier! shows what we are without ferdinand, ben-haim is a total waste of money
and the front two, was like watching the ******* chuckle brothers upfront. they were a joke, cisse's first touch was horrific and jones - well he's just a useless lazy peice of ****e.

We need someone who offers us real width and has pace. Edwards isnt a premiership player and neither is half of our sub bench. Just showed how much we missed Richardson today with his driving runs forward btw, I seen him today in the town :) But credit to Leadbitter he was our best player on the pitch, got himself about which is good to see as I think he is underated and seems a good lad.
Bring Gordon back into the team, I just dont think Fulop is that good, slightly overated, Gordon is a better shot stopper and all round better, £9million?
Cisse wont sign for us, unless OM reduce the fee (£13million is way to much IMO) £6-7million would be about right + he needs to start scoring again, but to be fair most of the service into him has been shocking.
I am getting increasingly worried aswell with Sbragia's FT reactions, he goes on last week criticising Richardson, McCartney and someone else about playing corner short etc. And then this week he says that in the pre match warm up they didn't look themselves.
Hopefully if we keep our better players in the summer, we then need to get rid of the likes of Murphy, Mcshane, Whitehead ( Wouldnt mind him as back up, works hard but has the techical ability of a horse and isn't captain material)

All you City fans too scared to post on here this weekend? What you think it'll be? 5-0? 6-0?

I agree, Malbranque and Reid aren't great wide players whereas Edwards is. But he really isn't good enough for this league.
And to be fair, if this is how Cisse is going to play week in week out, then i wouldn't even pay £1m for him. And don't even get me started on Jones, he's rated at 15mil!?! Who the **** made that up, he's a lazy **** - and he's shocking in the air. Should've sent him off to Spurs.
Sbragia really does need to start giving them a bollocking too, I mean what did they do right today - all they did was passed the ball back to our keeper at ever chance. Not impressed by Ben-Haim or Mccartney at all.
And Murphy and Mcshane shouldn't be allowed to play in a Sunderland shirt ever again - simple as. They are an embarrasment! And Whitehead is just as bad.

Put it this way,
If we have Sbragia in charge come August 09, i will be fuming with Quinn and the board.

Mancity were truly awful. Evans, Bojinov and Etuhu upfront for them at the end? Hahahahaha.
Good win for us, keeps the momentum going. We should have scored more goals, the amount of time and freedom our players were given on the ball was odd in a way, as they rarely get given that sort of space at home. Great team performance, with Essien starring.

To be totally honest with you i'd rather Arsenal got that 4th spot. Although they are good, Villa are unbelievably over-rated and lucky.

If Harry was in charge for the whole of the season then Spurs would have approx... 46 points which would put us in 7th place (2 behind Everton).
Plus the opening 8 games were winnable so maybe more! How anyone thought that we were going down... :P
(That's based on the points avg per game since Harry arrived)
Jermaine Beckford 1-0 Swindon Town
Yes because he was the only person on the pitch, you fail to mention how the goal keeper saved shots, the deffence got the ball out of the danger zone, midfield supported strikers and then theres strikers who score goals and assist one another. THROUGHOUT THE GAME. Becchio's been playing well lately so that comment was unjust and false.
