3 People I Have Spoken To Today have Been Hacked With A Keylogger. 2 People Are Staff At Pairz's Dinsney World (Which has Been Trashed) (Same Person Keylogged And hacked) AS I Can't Say The Name, Ask Me On Habbo Add T.2113 If You Want.

Also JAKCTARD (Habbo Name) AKA Jakmiester Has Been Keylogged And Hacked.

What Is This All About? Sounds Funny To Me!

Anyone Else You Know Been Hacked/Keylogged?

It's Really Fun To Talk With Every Goddamn Word Capitalised.

Stop it, also no it's not a "craze" it's just idiots clicking .exe files. Nothing unusual there.

yh i was hacked, i havent opened/accepted any files from anyone i dont know well (in real life) and i havent let my email/pass slip in any way.

AVG scanning now, 142,000 files scanned so far, 0 threats detected, are they hard to detect?

Keyloggers cant usually be detected if they are done right.

This is not a craze, this is kiddies clicking untrusted .exes.

If you get a keylogger over MSN, you are stupid. There is no other way to describe yourself. I have done it many times, but that when I about 10 and I was attracted to files with nice names. For example, 'thebestprogramintheworld.exe'

yes, that does also mean that i am stupid

Nothing unusual, nothing significant. People are always being keylogged.

It's their own fault.

It's no craze. It's always been the case that naïve kids open files from "MA BEZZIE HABBZ M8" like freethrones.exe or callieporn.exe (or even something disguised as an image or sound file).

After they have been keylogged, maybe they will learn. Or not.

Thing is, when people get hacked, they automaticly think they have been keylogged as it's the most talked about thing out there, when in reality most hacker's revert hotmail's and other email providers to hack habbo accounts.

If you are protected by a good anti virus, such as Eset, the chance of you getting keylogged is brought right down. You can still get keylogged by un-detectibles which are keylogger engines that are newly created and have not been investigated by the anti virus companys.

The moral of the story is, dont blame everything on a keylogger, there is many other ways of getting hacked.

Keylogging isnt a craze. If you fall for a keylogger you shouldnt really be using a computer.
Especially the Ardamax ones. **** me they are so easy to detect but some are difficult.

Should accept .exe's over msn or any other messengers, and if you do atleast scan it using a anti virus.

Well you learn from your mistakes so yh better getting hacked now rather than later.

If someone is stupid enough to open FILE.jpg.exe then I hardly see the point in trying to disguise it, they're likely to take the bait anyway.

On previous versions of Messenger you were able to disguise .exe files as image or audio files to circumvent the filter. i.e. no .exe extension.

£20 it's the good old image binding CMD trick, you can bind images to .exe files, when double clicking the image it opens the image but also the .exe, so you are completely unaware, AV's find it hard to detect as they don't search images that indepth however, it would need to be something like prorat as the image still has to be small, would be abit suspicious if a 6MB image was getting sent to you.

I'm not suprised to some of the noobs out their, but im not blaming that actual people who know about stuff on this forum, most of them in this post. Forexample, I never login to my mates computer to do anything. Why? Because just by looking at his desktop i can tell he has a virus or two. He has loads of fake windows alerts for firewalls etc. He also has no anti virus protection. And the crap you seee him downloading, no wonder! But what im trying to point out, is that most of the people who dont have much knoledge of computers are just the same. Do not -rep me for saying this, but its true. And im not saying you (the reader) Does the same, im just clearly pointing out about other people. But more to the point, not all the reasons you are hacked are because of keyloggers. There are phishers and other things floating about, so dont always give the keylogger the blame.
