A former WWE wrestler has been found dead in his Tampa apartment.
Andrew Martin, better known as Test, was found dead by Tampa Police around 8:00 Friday night.
Police were called to his home for a welfare check after a neighbor said she could see into his apartment at Post Harbor Apartments and noticed that Test appeared motionless for several hours.

Wasn't a huge fan of his back in the days of the WWF/ But I respected his worth and what he did in the ring I heard about this too and It's pretty horrible he died 4 days away from his birthday.
The Test Is Over, But The Test Will Always Live On...! R.I.P Test, You Were Good Wrestler.

That's a shame, R.I.P. Must be pretty random for him to just die by a natural cause, he's pretty healthy etc so I doubt it was a heart attack.. Hmm! We'll wait and see.

Im not saying it WAS what im going to say, but chances are the Steroid and Painkiller abuse has caught up with him. He was one of the biggest users, im sure of it. Police found Painkillers and Steroids in his Condo in florida.

Also, its choreographed, thats what people dont understand, a lot of the time, they are still actually getting hurt. Being propelled off a ladder onto a fairly thin padding, that does not come naturally. People go 'LOL ITS FAKE', do they want some sort of reward? Most people know its fake, thats part of the entertainment of it I guess.

Well I dont know if you are into wrestling, but basically, Test was a midcarder, meaning he was not a huge star, yet he was not unknown, so basically he did not have a hardcore following. Its kinda like, once the guys are gone, people go 'oh crap wow he is dead, no more Test', and the chances are they are not favorites before he was dead. Eg, Chris Benoit, was not a favorite of my friend, yet when he is dead, my friend said he was his fav wrestler EVER! and sticks to that fact, where as its complete **.
Dont take this the wrong way, im sure there are people who thought he was the best thing ever.
Listening to Between The Ropes (podcast) now, talking about it, its quite sad that he was only 33, which is heartbreaking.

I think that Test could have been big if only they gave him the chance to shine in the main events. One of his big stories was with Scott Steiner which I guess was kind of cool.

Yeah, the Test/Steiner/Stacey triangle was, in retrospect a good angle, was not a fan at the time as I was only young and thought the love angles were boring, but watching some old DVD's last night which he was on, pretty good stuff. It think WWE made the right move of not showing any tributes to him, they give him a tribute on the website, thats good. If they done it on telly they would have suffered a crapload of trouble from the Media.

Test did have a steroid problem, hence why the WWE didn't sign him again.

You guys liked Goldberg vs Lesnar? Everyone I know hated it, and people online hate it, we knew Brock was leaving, Goldberg was on his way out, no-one cared, the crowd themselves stole that match, looking back I remember very little wrestling in the match. Was a hideous match :P
And Test was signed in 06, left in 07, went to TNA as The Punisher (for one/two night(s).

I loved it, thought it was one of best matches ever. Although at the time I never used to know what was going to happen as I hardly used the internet.
Shortly after that match I stopped watching WWE.

I actually don't give two hoots on Triple H vs Randy Orton or Edge vs Big Show vs Cena anymore. I've just lost interest when I loved it so much before. I loved it when wrestlers like Goldberg, Chris Benoit (not anymore though) and Eddie Guerrero were around.
Was a shame to see this happen to Andrew, he did say in an interview that he wanted to change his ways.

He was a huge man but me thinks illegal substances helped him a lot.
