Hey,
So I took out a 320 gig IDE drive and so all I am left with is 2 SATA drives... now my BIOS on my PC is just sitting at a blinking cursor after it POSTs :(
Help!?
Thanks

Couldn't edit.
So I tried upgrading the BIOS and it didn't help.
I can boot the Vista installer from the DVD... it found startup problems, rebooted and it didn't fix the blinking cursor.

Sounds silly, but you tried resetting the CMOS?

Ahh I feel like an idiot now, I remember... Vista wouldn't let me format that storage drive so I formatted it in the server I was putting it in... perhaps the MBR is why! Now I know there is a way to write an MBR using the CMD on the Vista disk... I just need to find out the right commands :P
Why the hell Vista sticks the MBR on another drive is beyond me :/
Sorry for double post.
