I've watched every single Dragonball / DragonballZ / DragonBall GT epsisodes/ movies / specials around 5 or 6 times already so cba watching it again :P

Animies, rofl.

Trigun, Cowboy Bebop and Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor are all that come to mind. The Place Promised in Our Early Days has a decent dub, although I didn't think the movie was anything special. Don't you only watch dubs though? So surely any dub is good to you? :p

Fullmetal alchemist, 51 episodes and a movie. The sub i find horrible and the dub is awesome.

the movie is like an extra long last episode though

Despite not having seen Gundam Wing, I can safely say it isn't like Trigun. Trigun is not a mecha anime. If you like mecha though, watch Gurren Lagann. :8 Nearly half of it must have been dubbed by now...

Also, give Neon Genesis Evangelion a go if you think you can handle it. That's a mecha anime.

Full Metal Panic is also another mecha anime, that's really good and it's also dubbed.

Maybe go for Ghost in the Shell if you have a more defined taste.

I just rememberd that FLCL has an amazing dub, it's also another mecha anime. The action is insane. The story is a little weird, but it's a must see for everyone. There are only six episodes, and FLCL doesn't stand for anything, that's it's title. Although it's also known as Fooly Cooly or Furi Kuri.

One piece dub by 4Kids Is great if you've watched up to epidoe 104 Then they change the voice's you wont be able to get into it :l

Code Geass is one of the best animes I've ever seen. It's better than Naruto and Bleach.
I'd recommend Code Geass as I think the dub is bareable compared to the likes of the One Piece dub and that god awful Naruto dub.

Code Geass is just terrible! I know quite a handful of people who don't like it. Somehow whenever me and my mates are talking about anime we always end up ******** off Code Geass. It's funny. It's so bad none of us could even make it half way through.

In the Code Geass manga which I haven't read but for arguments sake will presume is the same, there are no mechs. It's the exact same story just excluding mechs. Shows that they are irrelevent and put in there for the sake of keeping viewer attention.

Other way round. You liked a dub that ripped everythign good about one piece and turned it into a big steaming pile of **** for 5 year olds to enjoy. So you must be easily amused by crappy puns to have enjoyed it. Funimation do alot better than 4kids when it comes to dubbing =/

Once again. 4kids removed. Arcs, Music, Blood, Names, Scenes, Edited Everything they could. Added puns for 5 years olds to laugh at such as yourself. Then funimation came along and kept everything intact and gave the characters good voices. You must get amused over anything..

One Piece despite what jord says. stay well clear of the 4kids dub that link will show you why. There is 1 - 39 so far with 14 coming out end of this month. and 80 eps from where the 4kids dropped it. Where i can find the link for downloading. Also i agree that FMA is a great dub. currently watching it atm. and DBZ. The fact that they were both good dubs should proof enough that funi dub is better than 4kids dub xD

FMA, One Piece, Dragoball z, Black Cat, Baki the Grappler, Are the only dubs ive seen and enjoyed so far.

Ermm mechs are a huge part such as the fighting, the lancelot etc..?

But I prefer to look at it as if it were not a mech anime because the story isn't built around mechs. It could easily have taken place using the same military tech that we have today but they put mechs in.

Where did I state it wasn't similar? I just stated that it fails at trying to be Death Note, it doesn't even compare to how good Death Note was. I'd rather eat my own crap off the floor of a prison cell while a plank of wood is being rammed up my ass than watch all of Code Geass.

I watched half of it, it hadn't caught a glimpse of my attention and so I came to the conclusion that it's crap. If a series has absolutely no appeal to me at all after watching half of it, then nothing will change opinion on the anime even if I watch the rest. It's a failure, it has nothing going for it, I hate the first half, so I'm going to hate the rest. It's one of the worst series I have ever seen, but of course it's the law that I'm not allowed to express my opinion until I've seen the entire thing now isn't it. Opinion my friend, opinion. Look at the art in Code Geass, it's pathetic. It's like I'm watching a shoujo anime which is the opposite of what it's suppost to be.

I'm not saying the animation in Code Geass is crap overall, it's just crap because it doesn't fit the series. It would work in something like Cardcaptors or Sailor Moon. If you don't like the art then fine, but why try compare it to Code Geass? Medieval and School Life/Mecha don't really mix...

Yes I often find that whether a mech does or does not have a face on it's chest makes or breaks a series.

It's a love it/hate it anime in my opinion. If you can stand the art, then give it a go. :p

The art was fine imo, it was just that Clamp did the character designs which as you pointed out do make it seem like you're watching Shoujo.

Medieval and School Life/Mecha don't really mix...

Some of that stuff niggled at me, considering the protagonist was meant to be a genius considering what he achieved in the end, to have him runnin about a school chasing cats annoyed me. They should have made it darker.

Chris Patton does the voice of Satou doesn't he? He's the best American Voice Actor in my opinion. I doubt even he can capture Satou's insane personality though.

People I know who like Code Geass adore the first season but absoutely hate the second season. I forget the reason why now, but isn't there a big change between the two seasons? Sounds like it changes for the worst. :P
