can't you use no claims from your moped's insurance?

I'd say about 1500-2000 depending on who you are with!

Just go to moneysupermarket.com and you can put it all in, just select that you've not bought the car yet and you don't know it's registration.

check on an online insurance quote thingy. for me, the cheapest i've found is like 1800ish, but theres some people on the forum who could get insurance/have insurance for MUCH cheaper. so i guess it depends on your area more than the car itself to some extent.

wouldn't expect it to be that much..

http://www.parkers.co.uk/insurance/groups/by-model.aspx?model=650

it's only gonna be insurance group 4/5/6 due to it being non-turbo so it won't be that fast and not much of a risk.

IIRC they also have an immobiliser code which you have to type in posing less of a risk.

My mate had a 1998 306 1.9 D-Turbo when he was 18 and was paying appox £2000 a year for it with his parents named fully comp. Ins. group 5.

1.8 petrol will probably be about the same. Still, I'd suggest getting something else since the car is probably only worth about a grand.

it depends entirely on your post code
