Wireless operates on a channel, you can change it by going into router settings (192.168.2.1) default pass is blank. then theres a setting such as "SSID and Channel" under wireless section.

Whats the turbo mode thingy?

. .
If you have 802.11b clients on the network, though, it will slow things down to 11 Mbps as I mentioned. To keep things running at 54 Mbps speeds, there's a "turbo mode" that basically turns off the 802.11b compatibility. It only allows 802.11g clients to connect, so you get top-speed data throughput.

The channel needs to be changed to 7 or 11, and it should work fine then. Also if you have cordless phones this could be why you have to change channels as the 802.11g/b is the same frequency as the house phone, so change the channel to 7 or 11 and it should be fine
