What OS are you using? XP or Vista?. It's alot easier if both the machines are running the same OS.

Stephen, is very much the same.

You can only do it if your using: XP Pro, Vista Ultimate/Business though now.

Hmm, when i tried to RD to my PC (Vista Ultimate) using my Laptop (Xp Pro), it threw a fit and wouldn't let me connect at all

Yeah, far as i'm aware the standard remote desktop software build in to Windows won't allow an XP machine to control Vista, but will work the other way around.

You'd have to use third party software such as TeamViewer or TightVNC to do it.

You can do Remote Desktop with Windows XP. I've done it several times. Just make sure that it's turned on in Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.

Then simply find it and use a quick google tut for it :D

Scratch that, I just got it to work both ways no problem.
