The G1 is from PlayTrade so is second hand that someone has traded in... The iPhone is a new unlocked one though so dunno about those.

Maybe Apple licensed people to sell the iPhone 3G unlocked in preperation for the new iPhones... to get rid of stock or something? :S

Bit strange though, considering they choose specific carriers in each country. Hmm, we have to wait and see :]
