Hi there,

So I tried install iDeneb v 1.4 10.5.6 on my desktop, it loads into the installation no problems. When it gets to the point of selecting a hard drive it doesn't show any why?

Format it using the disk utility in the installer.

Hey,

I did this and it installed successfully but now how do I boot to it? If I remove the CD it just gives me options to:

- Boot to Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7 (Beta Build 7048)
- Windows 7 (Beta Build 7057)

If I leave the CD in it shows the booting up screen but then goes into the install help?

How do you do this?

How do you do this?

Command prompt, type in DISKPART.

Then type Select Disk X - X being the hard drive you want. IF you only have 1 it would be Disk 0.

then List Partitions. This will show you all the partitions, when you see the one with osx on look at the Id number.

then select partition <id number>. Then you simply type "active".

Reboot and it will boot to that partition - to set it back if it doesn't work load up the vista/7/xp disc and use the command prompt on that.

What!?!? Don't listen to this, go to Disk Utility when you're in iDeneb (top bar then Disk Utility) format the whole HD. But if it's completely not showing it, listen to this guy.

If you have installed it but don't see a boot option you need to download the chain0 file (darwin bootloader). Google chain0 and how to add it to your existing boot screen.

How does it work?

Does that mean I can get in on my laptop?

Oi. He said he installed it successfully. It's booting into the wrong partition, which is why the vista/7 loader is coming up.

It looks like it could be very confusing to set up though?

And guess it slows your computer right down?

Not in the slightest. If you don't know your hardware you are screwed though. It functions just like any other OS.

If your using the Windows 7 bootloader which you probably are then download EasyBCD and use the NXT OS X loader option in the program to add OS X to the boot menu.

No, why should I? You come in my thread asking all these questions when you can go make your own.

I don't want to seem rude but it bothers me.
