well should we be able to have groups?

Like we got "Pixel Artist" Atm
and we chould have like

"360 user"
"Ps3 User"
"Anime Watcher"

Etc?

I think it will be good to show what we like, such as me I could join the "360 User" One and "Anime Fan" Or watcher What ever But we will need someone to make a little badge?

Well, you could always use Userbars to show your support, membership, or ownership of various things. I think the whole point with usergroups (at least, for the Pixel Artist one), was that they replaced defunct previous forum functions. Groups like the ones you suggest wouldn't really serve any particular function, and I can't see any reason why we'd want them...

Although they make people stand out for what particular things they enjoy it will not exactly serve an purpose apart from clogging up the userbar area should they be added. And in my opinion that is as far as it could go with making something productive out of it.

You do however have the profile to add such information, but what exact purpose in your opinion would it serve?

Pixels artists get 2(or maybe 1) extra forums.
I believe the technology one gets them two extra forums as well.

Maybe if it was just 'Gaming' or 'Gamer' or 'Games User' etc. but they wouldn't really get anything out of it?

If the groups hold no extra features like our current ones do, then really it is pointless. We would end up with random groups for everything and anything and they would just become so obsolete due to the fact they serve no purpose whatsoever.

Its just like badges on habbo, It shows what group your in, You can be in more than one. They just show what you like, If I joined a Xbox 360 Badge on habbo It would show that I love xbox's

they look tacky and take up space, i hate them. It would probably be abused and target others, there's like "WE HATE - - - -" groups on chf

Nah I like the badges, the groups I don't think should be made but maybe like a feature with different hobbies that you can either tick and wear or not, have it in user cp somewhere?

The only one that would hold any value would be the KKK one which would be invite-only anyway, so not a massive bonus if this was added tbh other than so everyone can join ultra cool groups like "OmG I LuRvE ChEeSe!! RaNdOM!!"

we should have one other than just a subforum because unwanted (most have finally gone) people post in there and that's just not cool.
remember that idea auz harry asked bout? we didn't hear anything else bout it but it sounded well good

I'd imagine they would only be badges and groups made by admins, not by normal users. Something that makes Habbox more organised than Club Habbo (or whatever CHF stood for :P).

I don't really see a point. Anyone can post in the console games area and by doing that you'd sort of understand that the user is into gaming. Is there a way that the user profile can be utilized to allow this? If all else fails, just have userbars or small badges in a signature, they don't take up too much space. I'd love to see the forum broaden into users showing their personality through what they do in their profiles (obviously following the rules), but sadly Habbo have intervened and don't allow Habbox to charge for premiums to allow such things, because it would cost something to do all this.
