Sound isn't working?

I just replace the power house/box in my computer as the other one broke. After I installed it I plugged everything back in and then turned on the computer. I am posting this thread from that computer.

I turned it on, went to my music and sound isn't coming out. I've looked at my drivers and the driver for my sound is on. I've looked at services and Windows audio is started.

And yes, my speakers are on and plugged in. I've got two slots (one at the front and one at the back) to input my speakers but neither work, the one at the front causes my speakers to make an odd noise though.

Try some headphones?

Any chance of details on the computer and the sound card?

What odd noise is it making?
