Heya James. First off, I think that immediatly jumping into selling them wont work very well. People like Jamie Boulton(sp?), Liam Howie, and employee's at RPC Audio work for months even sometimes years learning how to work programs properly and strengthen their recording voice.

To get started the best program I can advise would be "Adobe Audition 1.5". This program is excellent and is the most used when making jingles.

You can get activation codes online instead of spending all that money... (NOT encouraging illegal activity! :P)

Good luck learning the program and best of luck with your jingle site!

Ciao!

Also they use proffesional microphones and have the right sound effects which they can do in their own studio which costs hundreds, maybe thousands.

Also never use your microphone (normal) as it sounds crap, buy a proffesional one..

Yeh both above posts are right.

Buy a professional mic
Buy Beds and Effects
Get decent production experience.
You will need to play about with adobe audition, it isn't easy :)
