How do people lvl so fast?

So I'm like, lvl 51 or so on RS, and I've played for around 5 years....and my brother played for about a week, playing a few hours each day and got up to like, lvl 30.

How do people lvl so fast in any lvl?!?!? If you've got any tips for lvling in any lvl, please tell xD

I'd imagine you kill things, and the better the things you kill the more experience

and yerr i dunno what ur training or what you do but at 51 its easy to lvl

Well you need to find better ways, take me for example, i fished lobbies from 40 to 69, took me about 5 month, then i came back in feb, got from 69 to 88 in about 3 weeks

If you mean combat then buy members and train on rock crabs in relleka or waterbirth island = they are level 13 with 50hp and they hardly ever hit - their max is like 1.

They just spend hours on it or use *****/ scar

Kill experiments.

If you're talking about combat, you need to find the right things to kill.

For example, Rock Crabs, Experiments and Yaks are good monsters to kill because they give great exp - they have lots of hitpoints but low defence, so you will level quicker by training on them.

Some people might also just play longer than others, or use their time more wisely - I know people who prefer taking breaks between training and go play Castle Wars or something, while other people stick to their goals, and so level up quicker.

Well I'm level 91 and it took me around a month of solid playing to get there. So you really do need to be putting at least 2 hours into runescape per day if you want to see your levels move along quickly. :)

Lol I was suggesting that he plays that amount of time playing per day if he wants to level up moderatly fast, I spent much much more hours playing, infact my playtime shouldn't be measured in hours per day, it should be measured in days per day. I pretty much 24/7'd it. :P

Well im pretty much playing as long as i can, at soul wars, i gone up 11 strength and 5 attack, in like 4 days

Yeah I deff don't have the patience for like, days of RS playing at a time ^_^
Also, I was talking about all lvls, not just combat ;)
I rly wish I was a member again, that prolly won't happen though :(
GAHHHHHH. I just have tried so hard tho, and like, after awhile I get bored but I keep sitting there and doing the SAME thing for like 3 hours, and I go up like one level ^_^
I'm only in 30s-40s for most things too? :S

Yes you are, it roughly takes that long to powerlevel each level in fishing from 60-80

If it's taking you hours to go up one level at level 30, then you need to find a better way to trainn

Having members makes it a lot easier, because theres so many more options to train your skills, but theres some sites which can tell you what's the best way to train each skill. One that I use is:

A very good way for woodcutting is going on pvp worlds.
normally wake up early to do this so i dont get killed :)

if you're playing more than about 1 minute a day ur doing something seriously wrong.

Just kill things which are best to kill for ur level (look at guides if you need to)

For other skills again you can look at guides or just use logic
