also do u think they are a good combination
just generally curious as to what im doing next year :)
Maths ~ Depends on course really. But its the most academic one you have so keep it too A2. Its got some challenging concepts and you need to remember a lot of ways to do things but overall its a great A level! good luck

I do maths, I assure you you'll find it mind boggling for a couple months then settle into it and get your head round it. Give it chance.

I'm doing Maths at the moment, and it seems really complicated at first but eventually it all makes sense :)

Out of those four I'm currently doing History but that's because it's my favourite subject. Yeah, sure it's academic - a lot of reading and essay writing. However, it's my favourite subject atm and if you have a good teacher you'll do well. Although, I'm probably heavily biased as I want to study it at University, I think.

It's an interesting choice as they're four pretty different subjects, but also quite a balanced choice. I do Media, and to be honest it's relatively easy, you won't have any concerns over it.

Wouldn't say it's a complete doss, the coursework process is challenging, it's just the exam that's quite a bit easier than other subjects.

im takin Maths, Futher Maths, media and P.E
does any1 do further maths or am i just insane?
cant wait to do it though. C1 maths is dead easy though.
this summer is gonna be well weird though as i have to redo my gcse exam (3rd time to get an A*) then sit my C1 paper right after.

Not really. I'd only recommend further maths if you really enjoy maths and or want to do maths/a maths related course at uni. I'm doing A-level maths and AS further maths at the moment (we call it maths and a half). C1 is basically just GCSE maths with a bit of simple calculus. I did a C1 paper in Year 11 as well and got a C in it after around 8 hours of C1 lessons.

I'm doing Maths and History AS Level.
Maths I am struggling with but it isn't too hard if you are good at that type of thing.
History is great :)
I recommend both really but maths can be tricky.

i'd only suggest you take maths if you're naturally gifted at it.
ie. if you're only getting good grades cos you work really hard, probably not the best option. a lot of people find the core modules tricky, and if you can't get your head round it you're gonna get a crap grade.
