was 40% of overall grade, was ****tttting myself
got really nervous so said all these lines really fast when they were meant to be slow and emotional, but yeah
anyone else do drama/had exams in it recently

arghhh got my as drama exam on wednesday :\
i'm starting to get more nervous the more it approaches :X
i know my lines, but i have to do a southern american accent in the play, so its mega confusing because like i have to talk at a slow pace and i'm a fast talker irl LOL and i have narration and my accent changes throughout, when it isn't meant to hahah :|
was yours scripted? if so what play? mines 'the glass menagerie' by tennessee williams arghh
er my gf had her as level performance thing the other week if thats wat u mean? xo

Drama isn't even hard unless you go to a drama school. All you do is be like "hiyaaa, I'm happy :) Now I'm sad :(" and the examiner is like omg hand this ***** an oscar.

I had to peform my unit 2 final piece a few weeks ago and just finished the coursework for it.
But my final exam is in may sometime, doing it about West Side Story (:

nope, we were given a song and had to make a 15 min piece which had some relevance to it

Yeh we can do Another Brick In The Wall aswell, but we have only just looked at West Side Story.

Lol, i take it you both don't do A Level Drama.
It's a lot more complicated. Drama isn't just about speaking the words..It's the way you say them..with emotion..you need to take each bit of text and work out how to say it..for example if there's an elipsye that means you say it as if you had a change in thought..
+ the theory behind the practical is hard too.
So ye don't under estimate Drama!! ;] x
