Anyone noticed the new layout they put up yesterday?
Quite cool refreshed and all of a sudden I was hit with their new layout.

The little image you get for your result has changed as well anyone like this one better than the old one?

New Image you get from results:

I quite like the new image for your results not to sure about the main site I think the old site looked better and the lil result image looks better.

I don't mind it. The old version of SpeedTest Mini still works though. They usually force you to update your mini when they make a new version.

I like the no lag flash now. It used to push my latency up to 5000 by freezing my browser for 3 seconds :P

Ooh, it's nice. Glad they've not tried to make it more complicated.

It's an ok layout I suppose.

Now my download speed has changed :S

I preferred how the signatures used to display the number in kilobits rather than megabits as it was more accurate and IMO easier to read for poor results or Upload speeds.

The actual layout is better now there's less flash however it doesn't take up much of the screen anymore.

And for my results...

http://www.speedtest.net/result/438502597.png

Guess that's what I deserve for piggybacking (My internet's down and their network is unsecured called 'Default' so what d'ya expect)
- Btw the download seems far slower than that but yeah the poorest ping and upload speed I've ever had :P

GommeInc

Mmhmm, I prefered it when they did it in thousands rather than 3.56 for example. It complimented poor upload speeds :P

We pay for 8 meg and get 6... which is pretty good considering our copper line is only supposed to be able to handle 6 meg.

:O That thing where they removed their 4MB package and put everyone that use to be on it to the 10mb package? You should ring them up if you havn't already could get you an extra 6mb :P

WOOT! Someone on the 50mb package!
What you think of it? Cool? Great? Not bad? Excellent?

Suppose to be getting it soon do you always get around that speed or does it go slow at all?

Still no download limits?

What download speed do you get when you download? Like rapidshare/torrents on average?

Are the download limits for like capping during peak hours different for 50mb users or is it the same?

At the moment the 50Mbps service is run separately (I think), but they'll eventually probably integrate it in with the rest of the system I guess.

I like the new layout :D

edit// I wish I had the Maxonline Ultimate (I'm on Premium) with up to 100mbps down and 10mbps up. Shame it costs SGD$86 (about £43). My current plan costs SGD$56 (£23)

Preferred the old one with KBPS not MB, made my results look slightly less crap. New design looks nice though.

It's always bothered me that servers father away from my ISP give me better speeds, and here in Canada the closest server is pretty far away. Europe has a lot of servers close together:(.
