HxHD Permission Problem

Hey,

I have noticed that some people who are not staff and did not create the thread are able to create threads in the [HxHD] Habbox Help Desk section. I've also seen this happen in a few other sections, such as Ask the Habboxlive Staff. Just wondering why this is :). Alex

I agree, ive seen this numerous times, in the end it just gets the user who asked the question a bit confused :)

Pretty sure I can still post in there but I just PM one of the HxHD staff to post in there.
I don't think it's to do with managers permissions...

This probably should be sorted out, makes sense if only HxHD staff can post in there.

Dont think it is because the last time I read a Habboxlive Staff thread, I could post there.

It is to do with how the permissions have been set. They may not be denying access to all forms of staff/users to post in each of those sections they do not do a job in.

For it to be correctly sorted it needs an administrator to go through them and set them for each usergroup. However, it does sate that staff must only reply to the jobs they do.

Yeah loads of people that aren't HxL or HxHD staff post in them.

If formal warnings or anything could be introduced if they do this, that would be good because on several occasions, when they do indeed post, the thread starter can/has been very confused.

Well maybe having the permissions looked into could be a possibility, or it may be that they have to be that way for others things to work. I am not entirely sure as i do not have access to look at them.

However, if staff are doing so then you should report it to the staff editor.

Yeah staff from other departments post in the HxHD section too.
