My apple mighty mouse wont move the curser but will click?

I have added new batteries time and time again, and it does the same, i can middle click, right click left click, but I can't move the curser :S Any help?

Is it a wired mouse, or wireless one?

Also, make sure the optical light on the base is free from dirt/dust ;)

it's wireless, it started to work but isnt now :S and there isn't any dirt :S
