Once you learn that subs are better, you'll realise how dumb ya been and what you've missed out. Not to mention you'd maybe remember their names considered they're spelled out in ur face.

Their voices are the proper voices that they're meant to be. And if you like to go on habbo and chat to people, well then you're not really watching it are you? Its more like background noise.

I used to be like you, i'd watched bleach in dub until episode 50ish (thats where it ended then). Then coz i wanted to watch more, i had to watch sub. So i made the leap to sub and i aint turned back.

tbh i used to do the exact same thing, but trust me. Sub is just a lot better considering its what you're meant to watch not something edited

Sub is generally better, but in some cases dub can be just as good. I thought the FMA and Death Note dubs are both good.

But ye, FMA is good. Hopefully this time round you'll remember Mustang, dunno how you forgot tbh.

FMA, DBZ and Haruhi dubs are the only ones I watch.

The Haruhi dub is a good effort but is no where near as good as the original.

DBZ, Guyver and Steamboy are the only anime in which I prefer the dub over the sub.

One Piece, DBZ, FMA, Black cat. All happen to funimation. If its dubbed by any other company i usually wont give it a chance because i know it will be crap xD

Jord is coming out with all the typical excuses.. the people i dub (pun intended) Lazy.
Nothing wrong with dubs. Just when they come out with there crap excuses..

The thing i hate the most is when they defend the dub over the sub and say its better. for example. Death note, bleach, naruto dubs are all crap.. compared to the subs. yet they defend them. Jord defended 4kids version of one piece against another dub that was 90% the same as the sub.. Tho there are dubs that are better in english for example Dragonball Z. I prefer the music and voice acting. but i still like the sub.

Anyway.. since this is a FMA thread xD less than a week till the new FMA. Waiting for the next FMA box set to come out aswell. watch 16 eps dub and sub xD watched the movie and was all confused :( guessing i shouldnt have lol

I seem to be the only person who liked the Death Note dub :P. I thought the voice for Ryuzaki was a good choice... it fit's his character. And most the other characters have good voice actors... but characters like Mello weren't so good.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?! I wanted to kill the guy who dubbed L - he ruined his character in my opinion. What's worse is that I even met him. He was at the London MCM Expo last May but I coudn't gather the courage to comment on his voice acting. :P The guy isn't even a voice actor, he's in Battlestar Galactica. He was only picked because the voice director for the dub was a fan. The guy who dubbed Light was by far the best person in my opinion. He actually has talent!

You hate subs because you need to read subtitles, and you prefer dubs because you wanna listen to the voices and watch bits of it while you post on the forum, what's point in watching Anime if it's just to listen to, that's why you should sit down and watch subs, it isn't hard to read subtitles when you're actually watching it, but you always post too. Subs > dubs.

Can't remember where I read it but someone commented on L's voice acting saying the montonous tone used fits the character - the tone used sounds like he is constantly in deep thought.

That would be absolutely correct for the Japanese voice actor, but the American guy emphasizes on words too much and makes L sound more lively than he should be to be honest. His voice isn't montonous enough.

I aint making up excuses, I dont like sub because I like to post on habbox and do other stuff while watching anime, Computer screens are not 30 inchs so I dont need to turn my head just to see whats going on, I can see the whole screen and I can see whats going on without my eyes on it

No becuase I watch alot of anime and I dont want to do nothing while watching anime. as I said in my first part of this post I can still see the whole of the screen and I can see whats going on while watching dubbed

Yes, they are rebooting the series. Since the Anime was being made the same time the manga was still in the making, the anime diverted from the manga by A LOT. You'll be surprised to see whats coming up/whats not.


But in a nutshell, this reboot will be closely related to the manga.

see so youll be waiting maybe a year before the dvds start coming out. where as you could watch it weekly. anyway. Death note. Dub L annoyed me. Sub L was awesome and was also the voice of Usopp from one piece :D lol but yes New fma ill be watching but im more excited for Dragonball Kai.

I was scanning through the manga and I think it splits off from the manga at laboratory 5, after the bit where Al fights Barry the Chopper and Ed fights the 2 brothers in one armor... the stuff after that in the anime is where it's completely different to the manga, like Chimera Tucker and such.

Anyway found out the guy who is doing the voice of Ace in Fun Piece (Funimation One Piece xD) is the same guy that did Mustang in FMA dub.
