99 woodcutting

I prefer fishing and was on my way to 99 fishing but I got banned and then ran out of members so I'm stuck at level 74 fishing and can't catch lobbies in the guild which is what I wanted to do for money so It looks like I'll just have to 99 woodcutting on yews for money instead. I will buy members after I reach 99wc so I can 99 fishing. Or I might just buy members in a few weeks/months so I can use a d axe to chop ma trees. Wish me look home boys. :afro:

I agree but I'm not doing fishing if I can't fish lobbies. So I will 99 wc and then hopefully have enough spair money to buy mems for fishing. At least then I'll have a trimmed fishing cape. :8

Fishing is really boring, but if you're a good level, you can fly fish + bank at barb village, get about 300 fish an hour if you're really good. Almost imposs to burn salmon/trout aswell.

If you're powercutting, do it in a pvp world, you'll get dp if you're using more than 75K as an axe.

Ok people I need to make a decision. I've reached 65wc now and I don't know if I should move onto yews at level 70 which I will get to 99 with or wait till 80 before I start chopping yews? I want to reach 99 quite fast but also want to make at least 20 mill from it. Ty. :)

Yews take a fair time to cut - so I'd go with 75 or so

Its usually quite easy to find a quiet members world when cutting yews so I think I should manage pretty well. :)

Nice I've gone from level 70-72 in one day on yews (today) and I still have a while left. :D

All these posts are really helping me to carry on. Just don't be to suprised if when I get to level 91 I take a break for a few days. :P

Ok it's update time. 68k more yew logs to cut, I can do up to 2k a day so thats 34 days. I won't always be able to do 2k logs a day so give me 2 months and I'll be posting screenies of my 99 wc cape. :)

Well not exactly but I am level 82 now so I have made quite an advancement since I last updated this thread. Level 82 and have no intention to stop before reaching 99. :eusa_danc

Good luck, woodcutting is a pretty easy 99 and you could get it in just 1-2 months. If you want quick xp do willows from 30-99 - I was level 94 with dragon hatchet and got 40k xp per hour. Do yews if you want money, and if you get members dont do magics unless you need money (they are slow lol)

Cheers, it will bring in around 30 mill from now. Either way I should have at least 50 mill by the time I get 99. Then I'm gonna do 99 fishing. Almost 83 now.

Started doing mages now, they don't even seem that much slower than yews. In the long run I'm going to be making like an extra 20m from doing mages so I'm gonnna go for it.
