Well im wanting a few tattoo's, i quite like tribal tatto's but im wanting one on the left and one on the right of my ribs but not sure where to look really ;(

Small magazines containing hundreds of tattoo designs.

Ribs sounds an odd place to get it, especially if its your first. How about somewhere more traditional like your bicep?

Get it on a decent place, if you gain/lose weight the tattoo will change/stretch or whatever. Perhaps get a little star on your foot.

The rib area stretches if you lose weight/gain weight. Even if you think you'll be able to control your weight to make the tatoos look the same over a long period of time something might happen to you (such as a disease) and you might lose/gain weight & the tatoos would then become stretched, discolored and distorted.

I wouldn't personally get anything done to my ribs, it'd hurt like hell. I couldn't imagine a needle near that area, that would be crossing the pain barrier for me. The ribs ain't a good place but heres some suggestions.

You don't have to have as much as that dude, a quarter would do. It's tribal as you've said you like so something from the back to the nipple like that looks alright-ish.

Small pictures/emblems that mean something to you are always a good idea for tatoos. This one is, in my opinion, enough of a tatoo in size and such.
