is it when you get the 5 things into your arm then the one into your shoulder?
why do you have to get it? they stopped doing it at our school, my brothers both have their marks left..

How do you know you don't like them when you've only ever had one ;D.
It should be fine. Most needles you don't even realised they've put it in your arm until they take it out. It may ache a bit afterwards probably but that's all.

I had one when I was really young but nothing since then.
oh.. and I don't care about my arm aching when it's out - once it's done it's done, I just don't like the thought of the doctor coming to me, positioning the needle and then pushing it in..

Had mines about 4 weeks ago, and believe me, it only hurts for not even half a second. That's all. When it comes out, it feel like nothing.
Believe me mate, I was panicking but it really never hurt one bit.
I myself don't like sharp point things. :)
Good luck.

I hate needles aswell, I haven't had an injection for ages though :S
But I will probably catch something and die so it's okay, no more jabs after that.

I don't mind injections really. But a good tip is to ask the doctor before hand to surprise you. Honestly it doesn't actually hurt it's just like what the person above said, if you go in there scared then you'll think it's much worse than it is. Go in there thinking it won't hurt and it won't :)

It doesn't hurt and you don't notice it. It's a good reason to get off school though.

I had mine 2 years ago, thought it was going to be sore but it wasnt.
I felt the needle going it, it wasnt sore it's like I dunno really cause you dont even feel it much. You feel it going in but it isnt sore and then it's out in 5 seconds.
I love needles! It doesn't even hurt the only time you feel anything is when you feel the needle pulling out, and that's painless, you just probably have a phobia of sharp objects and in this case needles, it's nothing to worry about just look in a different direction or something.

I had one 2 months ago, it wasn't sore but my arm started hurting like 3 hours later and was still sore for around 1-2 days.

Think of something to distract yourself, sing a song you like in your head, listen to an mp3 player or watch a video on your ipod or mobile.
And besides, it will only last about 3 seconds, and the needle is too thin for you to actually feel anything =)

Yechh injections are terrible. Like a lot of people have been saying - just dont look at it. And dont tense up your muscles, it'll hurt more than if you stay loosened up. The shot itself shouldn't hurt too much but watch out for it being sore the next few days..

I have one yes - stop being such a pansy.
But nah in all seriousness just deal with it.
It'll be fine. The nurse/doctor will tell you to look away then she'll say it's done and you won't have realised it's gone in.
