The name wont be that lol. I was 'inspired' by the APPsquared layout and wanted to try something similar. If youve followed what ive been wanting to do for sometime the thing will make sense. If not, oh well. :P

C+C. Im thinking the blue sidebar could be a different colour? Thoughts?

EDIT: As i said, i dont think i like the blue so i tried a different version of it in red which is here. I think it looks far better

The blue version looks a lot nicer than the red version imo... The blue one seems to blend more neatly.

Also on my monitor with the contrast settings I use cannot actually visibly see the boxes around areas such as "So what exactly do we do?" If you mean for them to be slightly visible they should be slightly darker..

Other than that, nice design..

Blue is definitely better IMO. Maybe have a style changer and do Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Dark Blue and Possibly orange.
