My maze entrance

As the title says, this will be my maze entrance (the maze itself is far from finished), but it would me nice to hear your opinions on it.

I dont really understand the maze entrance's purpose? :) I know it's to let people into the proper maze, but isnt it easier to have a maze straight away?

This is on the norwegian habbo hotel and the pillows aren't that much worth here. For instance, you can get two or three blue pillows for each CS and one or two turquoise pillows for each CS. But thank you :)
