The release date there for the first Gurren Lagann movie is the DVD one, so it should hopefully get subbed pretty fast after release. The second Gurren Lagann movie is released in cinemas on the 22nd of April in Japan.

I'm quite looking forward to Eden of the East and Valkyria Chronicles to be honest. They both look awesome.

Valkyria Chronicles has now aired, the raw is all over the internet. Guin Saga, Tears to Tiara and Shangri-La all air in two hours or so. Guin Saga looks bloody epic.

Yeah, the first episode was pretty cool. Judging from the trailer theres a lot better things to come though. However I really liked the opening scene. Aparrently it's only going to be 11 episodes long though, which is a bit of a disappointment.

But Eden of the East is the way forward! The first episode is one of the best I've ever seen in my opinion, and has already won me over. Best anime this spring - don't let me down!
