They are two different companies, like Currys and PC World. It was just a buy-out. Umbro is Umbro. Nike is Nike.

Nike have done a swap around with staff, they have designers who worked under the brand Nike who are now under Umbro. However they're implementing ideas into Umbro which were used or are going to be used (data testing and sampling) from Nike.
