Well it depends when you buy it? Say if you bought it now. It would be there Tuesday. I think?

Yeah it's next day delivery (usually)
If I order something from Apple Monday morning I have it Tuesday morning.

£12.50 cheaper from Amazon ;) ~ http://www.amazon.co.uk/New-Apple-iPod-Touch-Generation/dp/B001E97GGW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1238942288&sr=8-1
When I bought my iPod touch from Amazon it was delivered within 2 days of placing the order.

I'd rather may the extra £12.50 so I know it's "legit" if you know what I mean...

LOL?! Since when was Amazon not legit. They are one of the most renowned sellers on the internet. I got my second gen from there and it works perfectly and was a good deal cheaper.

... no ... please go ahead. I don't quite understand your reasoning?

i know i was just saying :P
and yeh, i would like to know why not to use amazon because tbh, i dont see why not. lol. Apple are just as likely as amazon to have problems but amazon have way more customers

I'd rather get it from apple so I know that nothing may of been tampered with and I know it will be 1st hand also I like to get stuff like that directly from the manufacturer.
thats.. well, kinda a stupid reason lol.
you think everything that comes from amazon is second hand? Its an actual business you know lol

And this is why I didn't want to explain because nobody would understand.
well maybe if you added a better reason other than 'i want it first hand.' and i dont want things tampered with even though if it had been you just return it
if you jsut say something like, i dont like amazon then thats fine. but what youre saying is not really a valid reason lol..
Nick.

Exactly. Buying from Amazon is just like buying from Dixons or Currys, but online. Why would it be tampered with? It's not like eBay. You obviously don't understand the concept of Amazon if you think it may have been tampered with.

Just leave him be, if he wants to buy directly from Apple then that his choice. If he doesnt want to save a bit of money from buying off Amazon then it's his loss.

You should jailbreak it @ get applous, then you can get all the apps for free

Chris, For you're own sake, buy extended warranty. my iTouch recently broke and It's going to cost me 200£ to repair, if I had extended warrenty it would have cost nothing and i'm only two months out.

All fair and good if you want to buy directly from Apple, but nothing will change.
Amazon is just about like Apple's service, except they don't manufacture them - so a saving is a good idea.

You do realise Amazon are selling it just as Apple do, still freshly shrinkwrapped and everything, probably from an Apple warehouse...?
Apple may repackage a used one and sell it like Amazon so mehh

you may as well just buy a brand new one. I can't imagine any of the components in the iPod touch costing £200.

I was told on the phone, they would not be able to repair my wi-fi problem, which drains my battery, and the wi-fi is broken.
They told me, I would have to get a reconditioned one and bin the other.
