that's all you'd need, maybe a macbook pro at a push.
but they're both abit pricey.

It depends on how much money you have, but a standard MacBook should be fine and very portable. http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook?mco=MTE3MjA If you wait until you get to uni before you get one you can get a discount even more than their standard dtudent discount.

Or i could get someone who goes to uni to buy it for me then i get student discount :D

I believe if you go to your local Apple Store, then tell them which college you go to (and show your student ID) then you can get your discount. And I would suggest the MacBook Pro, if you're going to shell out for a Mac, may as well get the best :D

The 13" 2.0 model should be sufficient for your needs. As would the white MacBook.

You don't need to go to university, or know anyone that does to get the massive discount! I bought the white 2.0GHz model about 2 weeks ago. The price was £617 without any extras compared to the £720.
