The UN Security Council has been debating whether North Korea should be punished for the launch.
The US, Japan and key European powers say the launch was a ballistic test in clear violation of a UN resolution.
China and Russia have been more cautious, saying they are yet to be convinced Pyongyang broke the rules.
Pyongyang says the test of the three-stage Taepodong-2 rocket was a success, putting a satellite into orbit which is now transmitting data and revolutionary songs.
North Korea's deputy UN ambassador Pak Tok-hun warned the council against trying to punish Pyongyang, insisting his country had only launched a satellite - rather than a missile - at the weekend.
If the 15-member security council took "any kind of steps whatever, we will consider this infringes upon the sovereignty of our country," he said, threatening "necessary and strong steps".

He did not elaborate on what further steps North Korea might take.
"Every country has the inalienable right to use outer space peacefully," he added.

I will watch this news with anticipation. As much as I hate conflict, do you think the excuse 'Buttttt... it's north korea' will make it acceptable? :P
'This madness has to stop'.

The US and Japan and Russia confirmed that the 2nd stage of the rocket, and the payload, splashed into the Pacific ocean, yet North Korea is still claiming it is in space broadcasting revolutionary songs.

AKA propaganda.
In North Korea they have all songs dedicated to the Dear Leader and his father and the revolution, it's all nonsense but the people don't know any better.
Hmm, am I the only one who wants to see North Korea take action? I mean, for once a country has the balls to do something instead of just sprouting crap.

Ha, you're funny. The minute they have the balls to do something, is the minute they get knocked off their high horse.. and put back on their pony.

Of course they did. Hitler was a genius when it come to the economy. Germany was in such as disarray at the time, with their major economic crisis.. that they didn't care what it took, all they wanted was change.
Hitler brought that change, developed the new factories for them to work in (making arms, panzers, etc). It brought the economy up from the roots, to one of the most thriving countries at that time.

The only reason Germany went to war was because Britain declared war on it.
Hitler was Jealous of the British empire and wanted none of his own, he ranked British people just behind the Germans.

I'm deeply supportive of the British Empire and I think it did so much good for the world. Hitler admired our Empire and wanted a European Third Reich Empire, in a way he brought down the thing he admired, as we ran into debt and as our power oozed away the USSR and USA took the main stage as the two superpowers. I think if WW2 didn't occur, today our empire would still exist and it would be the British Empire & United States of America as the main world powers.
In a small way we are still an empire, as the places we still own are not part of the United Kingdom and are colonies, but under a different name (territories). :)

The queen could reclaim the commonwealth:
Dearest Commonwealth territory,
I, Queen Elizabeth II, am reclaiming your country as part of the British Empire because you are deemed unworthy to govern yourselves xx

I totally agree the empire was great for the world and particularly Britain and yeah we would still have it if it wasn't for WWII but it's too late now, even if we did have the power to bring it back together (Which we don't) it's not the same anymore.
Canada & Australia yeah but we sucked India dry so we don't need that and the likes of Kenya, Zimbabwe and Pakistan, do we really want all these countries back? Pfft no.
