32 Character names now allowed.

Hey, habbo have upped their maximum character limit to 32. This is quite cool but has caused alot of template errors. See the account I just made. So yeah, enjoy making your new long-name accounts, lol!

Because 'long' names were possible before. When you registered on the actual client there was no character limit, only a space limit where the characters went so people just filled the box in with full stops then changed them to letters. I tried to get 32 characters of capital Qs but it was already taken, as was 31 and 30 and they were all made like 3 years ago.

He means that the accounts database could store the data value of a name that long. Obviously they'd never allow names that long to be registered.

It's not a bug to be patched, it's deliberate. People complained because on foreign hotels they have bigger character names to compensate for names which tend to be longer in their country. So UK did the same.
