I'm sorry but this thread (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=572170) about Habbox Help Desk was closed by PaulMacC to "prevent further arguments"
I don't think there were arguments within the thread. It was still on topic and it was more a heated discussion. It wasn't causing offence to anybody, just certain people were fighting their corner.. and as far as I'm aware that's perfectly within the rules. Neither parties within the discussion were being abusive or rude and they did not insult eachother. It was a good debate to read/follow, so why on earth was it closed? It wasn't causing anybody displeasure... I'm sure both sides appreciated the others opinion however the discussion had not concluded yet.
You need to sort things out, 'cause tbh this thread didn't need to be closed, you just chicken out in case it gets out of hand, just in case, well maybe you should have mods MONITORING it, rather than just closing it straight away to prevent things happening, 'cause then this abolishes the purpose for the thread.
To be honest, if that thread about HxHD has been closed, why hasn't FlyingJesus'?
Edit by Robbie! (Forum Super Moderator): Thread closed. If you have a problem with HxHD, pm Leah or nvr. If you have a problem with members of staff, PM nvr or the staff members manager, or use the complaint about a staff member forum. This isn't achieveing anything, Paul was right to close the thread and this thread serves no purpose either.

That thread went off topic as did the other one and did turn into an arguement, mainly against Leah which was wrong as she hasn't done anything wrong so It should have been closed in my opinion. As for the other one, it died down so there wasn't a need to close it I guess.
I think you should stop creating these pointless threads about the help desk, which you know are only going to cause arguements and you should grow up. If you have a complaint then PM it to management, there isn't a need to cause arguements and gang up on certain staff members :)

Yes it was still on the topic of HxHD
But it was just flaming Leah and the staff, not really on topic.

1) No complaints have been made by me :)
2) I haven't 'ganged up' against Leah. I have made a comment on how she deals with things, but only that.
3) It's a suggestion for improvement, therefore is in feedback to see what other members think (by the way the majority did agree with me).
4) It's the first thread I've made about HxHD.
So don't insult me.

This issue would probably be better dealt with by PMing the Super Moderator himself, or by contacting either the Forum Manager (who's away at the moment), or Nvrspk4. Creating a thread about it will likely just cause more problems than it will solve.

1) http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=5726042&postcount=33 Quite argumentative.
http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=5726114&postcount=38 Quite argumentative.
http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=5726178&postcount=43 You even said you were arguing.
http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=5721160&postcount=8 You were arguing.
3) There is nothing wrong with one thread discussing aspects of the Help Desk which can be improved, but when that turns into a ganging up of staff, and goes completely off topic then that is over the top. Honestly I think Jin's post sums it up quite well, but that's just my opinion.
4) Errr.. Your complaining about why another thread which you made about the help desk got closed. Enough said.

Im not 100% sure if everyone expressed there opinion in a kind manner, but im sure i did, i was reading through some of the posts and i did not find any of the posts rude but perhaps i missed out on the odd one or two, in my opinion i thought the thread was fine it was a simple discussion that was not getting out of hand and if there was the odd person acting like an idiot they should of got cautioned / Banned, then if the thread start to get out of hand, Close it, it would be a different story and i would i agree the thread should be closed if there was several people acting immature, but there was only the small amount that were rude and did not express there opinion in a kind way, which is kind of selfish for a moderater to close a thread that was just a simple discussion.

Arguing Your point of view is fine, they teach students in school how to argue a point and if arguing a point is not a good thing i highly doubt that the board of education would allow this, which they do so it is fine.

I can tell you now, some comments that were made did offend some people and did cause some displeasure.
Why make another thread, like said above it would of been much more easier to contact the super moderator himself or management? :S

Yeah of course arguing your point is fine but when you start offending people, that's where it oversteps the boundary. Besides that, I honestly can't see any reason this thread was created apart from to cause arguements so it should be closed too really.

I reported the thread as it was off topic at the end and we weren't solving anything.

The use of the word argument is used quite loosely.
Lets face it arguments can be good... heated discussions...
It's not an argument in the sense of "i hate u" "ur mum is fat" "go die"
day to day life consists of arguments, why can't this forum?

'Yeah of course arguing your point is fine but when you start offending people, that's where it oversteps the boundary.' As I said above. Arguing your case is fine as long as you do it without offending people. That thread offended several people, and as a result was closed as it should have been.

I do apologise if i offended anyone, that was not the aim of my argument, i tryed to express my opinion as nicely as i possibly could.

He basically summed everything up in one post.
