sigh..
Yes, I bunk off school a lot and always get moaned at but that will never stop me from doing it. I never learn anything (i'm year 11) so I don't see the point. I can fail all my GCSE's but it won't stop the fact that I'm going to college afterwards, like I've sat through a whole year of learning **** all and when I'm finished it's going to be for nothing which is why I don't even bother to go, most days I go into school but come home whenever I feel like it =/

Well, we have 6 sessions in a day, at 50 minuits each, 50 minuits lunch time, and 20 minuits break time, I only bunk the lessons that I don't benefit from (dance, ICT - because our original teacher isn't in school, we have a substitute, who never makes us do work :P) so I usually bunk about 3-4 lessons a week, or on a Thursday, I do a half day, just 3 sessions. Long story short... ...yes. :D

Why do people skip classes?
I think i did it TWICE.. in 13 years of schooling.. That was because we had a substitute teacher and the other was wood work.. we didn't do anything anyway.

No, although I'd love to get out of RE and PE...
And student support in our school search the whole school, the farmers field at the back of our school and then they go up to the service station just beyond that field - the amount of stories you hear of kids running out of KFC is unbelieveable... Although if I did bunk off a lesson, I'd just walk home :)
Never bother mate. When I do, I either get a nag, or I bunk and miss loads of things Im supposed to know and fall behind.

We used to have a forest kinda thing behind my school, although occasionally you'd see teachers go down there.. but nothing would ever happen.

no
because
my house is like 5 miles from the school and there's a police station down the road looking for anyone out of school
cause you could be forced drugs (not so bad for some people) by people round one block of buildings
beaten up round the other buildings
drown
shot
crushed between bars
BECAUSE IM A GOOD STUDENT WHO FOLLOWS INSTRUCTIONS FIRST TIME (lol)
k that's why
Nah, it's impossible to bunk off lessons in my school because it's so small. You get in mega trouble if you do. But I don't always go to school to put it lightly. Not that I bunk, i'm just stubborn so my mum can't get me to go to school sometimes. But yeh, they said they were going to send a letter to the social if I dip below 70% attendance.

Nah, i don't bunk off school i'm in Yr 11 now and i want to try hard to get all my GCSE Results and Grades as well. It's stupid for people to do this if they do but it's upto them no Results or Grades ? :) Simple as basically.

No never bunk college, I don't see the point, you go to college to get educated and get a qualification out of it by missing college your just making things harder for yourself tbhExactily what I was thinking. I never bunked school either even though it was **** as anything.
Used to do it years back, because I was ahead.
Now I don't see the point, as I miss crucial information which will set me way back.
When I was in Years 7 & 8 I never went on a Friday (shopping day), hardly on a Wednesday (Hated Drama), and any other I couldn't be bothered to I'd be so stubborn I wouldn't go as my mum had to be at work (dad worked nights). Now don't get me wrong my parents aren't bad parents, they are really good ones actually. I just used to be a little ****.
Then the only days I had off in Year 9 was when I was ill. Come Year 10, if I didn't want to go, I'd just tell my parents I didn't need a lift to school I'm going on my moped and just go and chill round at a mate's house, or if I had some labouring on go and do that. In Year 11 I NEVER went on a thursday, because I only had one lesson (ICT for an hour) and my school was half an hours drive away. Amazingly I still got 10 GCSE's with really good grades.
I do regret taking school so seriously from years 7-9 hhaha all those years back. Should of had a much more relaxed time as there are no exams for these years anyway. Now that I'm in Uni and think about it back. People generally are more dedicated in year 7 haha then it's a gradual slope downhill (untill years 10 or 11 at least)

you had a moped in year 10, what?
I've lived in Spain since year 9, legal age for driving them here is 14  Ridiculous to be honest if you ask me. But now I have my car so I'm all happy :D Had to wait until I was 18 though for that because of this stupid country :eusa_wall

I go to an all girls grammar school and I'm only in year 8, we'd get hell if we bunk off, all the younger years get hell for missing lessons/ being late but if you're year 9 then it's ok.. -.-
I might one day, but not by myself, I'm a chicken.
Whenever I decide to bunk its almost like I miss the most important thing the teacher teaches in that year it always happens to me and I have to catch up ;[
I am very into school and all my studies so I think bunking is pretty worthless. However, I have bunked off a lesson before which is very unusual for me because, as I say, I take school very seriously.
I only bunked because I had missed half the lesson anyway for legitimate and 'staff-accepted' reasons and didn't want to go back.
I haven't ever bunked other than that, or bunked the whole day.

I bunked Ict today. Well I was in for the register and the beginning and walked out after. All my work is complete, the teacher don't do anything or barley speak, and doesn't care nothing gets done about it, so we played football
I do sometimes. Only if I'm really tired, and know that if I go in, I will fall asleep when I home, then end up waking up at 1am, then awake all night, then get into this stupid habit which I cant get to sleep at the right time, then end up being tired at college, then sleep at home, then i wake up late, then i get no sleep for college, then im tired, fall asleep and its like a ****** up routine which i just cant get out of because im asleep during the day and awake at the night, then im tired for college, then i fall asleep when i get home, then i get up in the middle of the night, cant get back to sleep, end up been tired mid day again. Blaaaa!

Well I'm in my bedroom right now, bunking off College because I only had 2 lessons for the morning. Tbh I only miss it if I oversleep or if I've got hardly any work to get on with, I just don't make the effort if I don't have anything to do there. I don't get EMA so whats the point. :P

I never used to skive when I was in compulsory education but my home life has plummeted and I have the motivation of a cat who's had all its paws chopped off and has given up trying to write it's novel. When I can haul myself in I don't get much benefit from it. WOO DROPOUTS :D

plus if you miss them lessons, there could be stuff you haven't learnt which could be the difference in getting into 6th form and having to go to a ****** last-minute college.

When i went to school last year i did bunk off quite a bit, 3/4 lessons a day or not go in at all lol. Only because i only went back that year to get grades in one subject because i got the rest the year before and we were forced to take 5 subjects, got bored of doing that so left half way through the yearrr. Managed to get a college course to do what i wanted to do without that extra grade though so all is coooool.

I skipped PE a couple of times and after using the excuse that my PE kit was still unpacked after moving a couple of times, my PE teacher just told me not to bother and winked at me, lol. I did walk out of a lecture at uni with my friend once, our lecturer saw us legging it out, we were crapping ourselves and went shopping at Iceland to waste time :P.

I didn't hate it as long as I liked what I was doing, but the teacher I had only did football etc. and the teacher who did tennis (what I wanted to do) was an absolute ***** and kicked me off the GCSE short course because I did tennis and badminton and didn't say I achieved anything in my ROAs. So I just though **** it and lied my way to freedom :P.

No. Unlike some , i want to do well at school. No matter how crap it is, you'll only get one shot at it really. When your stuck in a dead end job living in a cheap flat you'll regret not using your time wisely. Andddd, at least you can have the opportunity to go to school, some people would die to get good education but your all taking it for granted. /rant

i only ever bunk if it's like a half day or something
I missed a class because me and my friend walked to supervalue which was like half an hour away and we were back 5 minutes late so I just climbed up a tree in the school grounds and stayed there but then these ******** in my class started texting me saying my form tutor had come round to the class and noticed I wasnt there but turns out they were talking crap. Anyways I felt incredibly guilty and Ive never missed a class since
i never really went to school through out year 11, when I was at college you could just say i'm going home or leaving and they would let you.. same with uni..
so yeh but i dnt really consider it anymore.. if you dont want to go in, you dont have to :P

i went through a phase of about 3 months in year 11 when I didn't go to like ANY of my lessons apart from ones with senior management or teachers that would actually do something, it was quite amusing and funny, as there was like 3 of us. Didn't get caught bunking, got caught walking out of school though, and i dont wish I didn't get caught becuase it worted me out and stopped me doing it, otherwise I would've carried on doing it throughout all of the revision.
