I lost the old database, I'll search on my external hdd, but I don't think it's there.

I've got a huge 28GB wordlist that I've split into 30 sections, I'll try and create a script that reads them, hashes them and stores them.

Bad news: deleted everything in the database (intentionally).

Good news:
Created a mass-file-encrypter. I upload a text file FULL of words, and the PHP will encrypt it and insert into the database. :D Keep autoing, but this will add so much!

Just an update, because somebody was using the automatics, there's a tiny problem I'm sorting out, so the database has been emptied (I've a backup), so don't auto for now (can't anyway :P)

Basically, I was making the script more efficient, and I broke the way it inserts and encrypts. :P
I'll post when it's sorted...

Problem sorted, the code is a bit faster now. There was a problem with uppercase and lower case chars. The database got messed up too, so it'll be remade from scratch, but don't worry... it'll reach 300,000 in no time.

Another problem cropped up, but it has been fixed. Over the next few days I will be adding thousands of hashes, which will be English words and English words with numbers (e.g. hello1, hello2, etc).

Some of the scripts (automatic and another to generate strings of text) caused a high server load, so I've implemented something that will stop the auto script from loading if the server load is too high.

Feel free to use automatic, or to manually hash words.

This is a small project atm, but I aim to create a massive database. Of course, at the moment the database is rather small so it's not taking up a lot of space, but when it gets big (we're talking hundreds of millions) then I'll need to upgrade the hosting... it's all out of my pocket so if you wish to donate it would be great (check the donate page on the site). I've not put advertisments on the site because they make it look ugly and cause slower page loading times, they're also annoying. This means that I wont generate any money from the site without donations, so they're kinda important!

I aim to keep the site open for at least another 6 months out of my own pocket, if it does close down, which I will try my hardest so it doesn't, then the database will be released for free.

You could always just do it local, using the same script I gave you, except doing it on localhost (XAMPP or WAMP) and have it connecting to your hash database remotely, no uploading.

I'm not 100% sure how or why it's doing this, but I'm uploading the hashes with a php script (thanks to Dentafrice for that!), I edited the unique key and it's going up in tens of thousands a second, lol... weird... it's not even making the server load high, and the hashes are there and fully working.

I hope it doesn't mess the db up. :P

Long story short, I made the server load go up to 50, when it's usually around 4... reason was that I tried to change the data type for the plain text, and with over 2.5 entries it killed the server.

Also, when entering "Hello" or "HeLlO" for encrypt it would return "hello" in lowercase, this has been fixed.

Improvements to efficiency will be made if possible, but I've learned to test on localhost before using it on the live site. :P

Right now, at the time of this post, there are 2.1 million hashes in the database - that's more than md5encryption.com.

Another update: the boxes (grey, green and red) have been coded in divs instead of tables so that they load faster, which to me the speed is noticeable (only just).

There are now 3.9 million hashes, almost double what there was yesterday!

What are the plain text values of the hashes though? As if you're just encrypting random strings like 3833234 then it's a bit pointless...

I've got loads of wordlists, some are of the English dictionary, some are numbers, some are 1337 5p34k, etc. I think I did all of the numbers from 1 - 999999, along with many common and not so common English words, case variation... there's loads.

And it's not pointless, really. Sure, it's a waste of space really having @MNk3802XX! because I doubt anybody will enter the md5 hash for it, but it all contributes to the database and if you've got an unknown hash, it may well be that one.

Of course, I'm focusing on adding most English words, then adding them with numbers on the end.
