Hi there,
Due to the fact, I need to get better at PHP, ive begun coding a new Habbo Content Management System. Inspiration taken from the Habbo Site Panel.

Although Habbo Site Panel was a good panel, alot of people commented on the poor coding which is why I plan on taking the time and effort to make this the best that i can!

I have a big list of features that i've begun coding some of these include:
Applications
- Applications Form [100% Complete]
- Email Notificiation to succesfull applications [100% Complete]
- View Apps [100% Complete]
Users
- User Ranks - Ranks for each individual job to display the appropriate navigation for their particular job [80% Complete]
- Private Messaging System with multi-user messaging [100% Complete]
- Profiles with Avatars and Personal Descriptions [50%]
News
- Add news/Delete News/Edit News
[U]Site Pages
- Add pages/Delete Pages/Edit Pages
- Templating System [Un-sure!]
[U]Forum
- Forum Integration
[U]Radio
- Radio Details [100% Complete]
- Radio Code Generation
- Radio Statistics Log [Un-Started]
- DJ of the week [Un-Started]
[U]Rare Values
- Add Rares
- Edit Rares [Un-Started]
- Rare Descritions [Un-Started]
[U]Events
- Events Timetable [Un-Started]
- On-Site Events Rotating Advertisment [Un-Started]

The CMS will work alot like Joomla or Wordpress. You will be able to install to your own hosting using MySQL, and then on a main site i will offer layouts to download for free [Possible developement for payed ones?]

I cant do this all on my own, Well i can, but it'd take me a very long time!

Bit of feedback:
1) Would you use this system?
2) Any other features you can think of?
3) Would a payed option with shoutcast,hosting and sub-domain be acceptable?
4) Would allowing room for user modifications or exploits be acceptable?

I would DEFINATLY use this system.

Tbh, I would only use the panel, I wouldn't buy hosting or shoutcast with it...
I think you should allow room for mods and exploits, so people can creat features to add.

Oh and if your looking for a designer, I could do you a quality design for an affordable price.

Ok, That was just an idea really!

I am looking for a designer but at the moment, with other projects, funds are pretty low at the moment!

Wow didn't realise I had 100.
Anyway, all my previous unsold designs were deleted, along with my 2000 songs :angry:

I saved them to an external hard drive to free up some space but it turns out the thing is faulty :////

Got a new one for free including a refund.

But I'm sure I could whip you up a design, and send a watermarked copy to u and see if you like it.

Its going to be habbo style and i'm more than happy to pay £30+ for a good unique layout, I have another person drawing up some drafts.

The idea of the dj thing above can be integrated very easily, and im thinking of releasing 'widgets' that you can download and install yourself, alike that one (+rep for the idea though!)

A DJ timetable i think is compuslory and therefore, it's already been coded!

Feel free to PM me about a job, i have one coder with me, the more coders i have the quicker it will be released, also all job positions wont be for just one release, i plan on releasing several upgrades after the initial release! :)

There'll be at least a month of beta updates, before i release a final version :)
Then i'll probs have a week sifting through feedback on people who have used! And releasing another update.

Also, if anyone wants to help us out by offering us some developement hosting :) I'd be grateful, im building it through Xammp atm :L just a bit :) Thanks!

We'll have to see what the feedback is first :L I wouldnt start licensing for the first version at all, it'd have to be months into the project so that i know i have a stable piece to release, its an idea though

no point, if you use habbo most of that money is eaten up in commision.

What do you guys think of me, (With permission from respectful owners) coding into the HabboCMS the free layouts that are offered on Habbo Archive, So you can select which one you want the website to look like?

That's a nice idea, but It's allways nicer to make your own if any way possible, as the ones offered on habbo archive are very basic and used on alot of sites.

I don't know wether this would be hard to do or not, or wether you've already done it, but it would be great it the CMS had in built forum. I've always wanted my forum to look identical to my main site, and it'd be great if the cms could do that.

Turning your site onto maintenence and off of maintenence is now working...

Ive just finished coding a new idea I though of where on the maintenence page, there is an image which says 50% complete, and things, you can update this image from the admin panel, choosing the percentage of completion!

Is that a good idea or not?? Feedback guys!?

Lol, as the time nearer's ill be hiring a few staff to help with the support on the site and forum, so i'll need people with experience of installing and things! :) Not a hard install at all though, just running an install file and your sorted :P
