American Idol came before X Factor but was created by the same person who created Pop Idol.

Simon Cowell created Britains Got Talent and Americas Got Talent, AGT aired before Britains Got Talent therefore making it first.. still, made by Simon Cowell... and who is "America". The whole of America didn't create it, Simon Cowell did.. he went to America, created AGT and therefore it being Americas Got Talent..

Yeah but it probably wasn't as quick as they made it seem. There wouldn't been editing. And plus, like Simon said, some people are better at singing other songs depending on their pitch and tone.

I guess I just prefer to be naive when it comes to TV haha.

Yeah seriously, although the judges thought that the drumming was amazing for a 12 year old it was rather average, there's loads of other 12 year olds which are so much better and I don't see how or why he was given the chance to play.
