If you can get Be*, go for them. Fastest DSL connection you'll get at the moment and they don't cap, up to 24MB.

I'm sure you've recently made a thread on this? And if you're going with Virgin cable you wont need your MAC.

Because they're completely different modems and platforms.

Although it's unlimited downloads, they still cap torrents at peak times which is 16:00 to 11:30 on BT. They also offer download speeds up to 8Mb. That package is £18.58 then about £25 a month after 3 months, that includes phonecalls.
Sky Max package also has unlimited downloads but they don't cap torrents so you get the w/e the fastest you get, 24/7. They also offer download speeds up to 16Mb. Ontop of that for broadband + phonecalls it's only £10 a month. You have to have skyTV though and you still have to pay BT line rental. I'm on Sky atm and I prefer it to BT which is what I had before.

If you go with thier 'National Services' you will need your MAC code (I think).
However if you have cable in your area (use their area code checker) you dont need it you just ring up your current ISP and tell them goodbye your leaving and ring up Virgin and say you want X package for their cable if it's available and they send someone around and boom. Although I'd advise cancelling your current broadband after your new one comes so if theirs problem you still have internet.
