Thought i'd try a habbo layout just for fun.. the width is way too small but meh, i'll just move the content boxes around. Thoughts??

I like it!
The only thing is the navigation is like curved the wrong way? It curves into the banner which I find a bit unusual but on the whole I think its pretty nice :)

As stated on ClubHabbo, I like it.
I think it's good for a first. Keep on working on them, and they'll be better!

I like it, but maybe have a gap between the "welcome" content, and the two below it.
And i like the width :)
For a first thats amazing. Most peoples first layouts that I see are just abunch of plain boxes and such done in paint, but that's really nice.

Thats amazing i'd use that if i had a fansite.
I like the sub-nav, the black box with reduced opacity just works great with the design, Can't wait to see you when you're a pro, that is, if that layout hasn't already deemed you eligible for that title.
Keep it up.

cheers guys.. here's an updated version based on yours (and from other forums) comments.. as you can see i've not done much, just a few bits and bobs which aren't that noticeable

Much better (even though there wasn't much wrong with it in the first place) :)
Only little thing I would do is align the latest news, today's events and latest poll in the vertical and then increasing the size of the welcome box.
However those comments are pretty redundant as I am guessing if it was coded the welcome box would be expandable.
have a +rep as I really like it! :)

And yeah, I agree with you - they'd be more than likely pushed towards the bottom of the page if they were kept as they are.
Thanks for the rep!

I like it, the only thing I dislike is the banner I know it's just a mock up but my god it's bad. Also the content layout is alot like many other habbo fansites.
So yeah for your first layout Great! 4/5

You wouldn't think pink and green would be a bright choice of colors, but the quality of the layout, surely makes those two go together great.
As I stated, not a big fan of a pink layout, but I would use this, because the quality of the layout surely takes you attention of it the pinkness :P
There's one thing that bugs me though, with the sub-nav. I just can't place my finger on it. It's something to do with the sharp edges, but I don't want to give constructive criticism without some sort of suggestions to back the feedback up.
Love it, 10!

Yeah I was wondering whether or not to use pink but they seem to fit in this layout (I would never use green and pink in a non habbo layout lol). Thanks for the cc though :}
