At the moment spam'd is just an experiment, I'm interested to see how many register and how much spam and such it receives. If it fails I'll just leave it at that and move on, but I'd like to imagine many registering and gaining quite a few regulars.

Forum motto is 'where spammers and trolls unite', so that's a pretty good definition of the idea behind it - just spam it.

First 100 to register can have VIP,

Cheers for your time and I hope you'll register :)

I recommend not getting a forum. Just an easy 'post' script on the page. With stats etc.
Use Meta tags and that's all.

Well you won't get much spam if users have to register as they wont be bothered.
Eg. they search spam into google, find your site then realise they have to register, unlikely that they will post. :P

So yes, enable guests to post!

Alright, enabled + creating polls

how do you get people to register on such a site anyway? I've said first 100 can become VIP

This builds awareness. On the other hand, do little competitions. Gain revenue from advertisements, then increase the value of the prize perhaps.

Believe it or not, ads are sometimes the main source of income for most non profitable websites. ;)

They don't have to be pop-ups, simply Google ads. :$

It's just an experiment for now tho, not looking for money :)

but if it picks up I won't hesitate to think about implementing ads.

Why don't you register so you can become VIP ? you deserve it for the help you've given here haha ;)
