I saw Donnie Darko last year. Isnt the bunny kinda freaky? What a great movie and it kinda plays on your mind. I think the writer wanted to make the movie be one that you had to work out what was happening, if you get what I mean.. Brill movie anyways.. Got the DVD :d

Donnie Darko is one of my favourite films, and it's so cheap because no one realised how good it was untill afterwards...because people are stupid and prefer movies with no plot and terrible actors!
I really like how independent and new wave films are becoming more popular, there's hope for mankind after all!

I kinda thought the bunny was pretty creepy, anyone else find it creepy?

I found it creepy. But I was kinda drunk when I was watching it...by watching I mean bits of it. I kept falling asleep. But the bits I saw were good...argh Im gunna get it now...
I've seen the theatrical version and the director's cut... I'd recommend skipping the DC because it tells every little detail of what's happening in the movie and ruins every ounce of mystery the original had.

Hehe. I got it for £2 a while ago off eBay :d Beechoo! It's cool, after about 4 times, I don't think I'm gonna be watching it for a long time. In a few years it'll come back to me
The way that stuff comes out of the people's chest is odd. And the bunny's real face with the odd eye.

lol ;) I shant do that then.
The only good thing about the Director's Cut was that for some unknown reason (even unknown to him) Kevin Smith was on the commentary.
Pretty much all the Director's Cut is is that for each chapter of the movie the director put up a page from the book Darko is reading in the movie and it explains exactly what is going on and what will follow. Some of it is interresting, little details that you'd miss, but most of it just ruins the story for you. It also completely changes the meaning behind the movie for the viewer from a complex love story (sacrificing himself to save another) to a movie about time traveling.

is there such a book?Is there a book called Donnie Darko?
They actually made and released the book. It's not called "Donnie Darko" though, not sure what it's called. I'm sure you could find it online somewhere though.
i never heard about it :o
