I'm doing a small project on what makes youths feel unsafe/ what would make them feel safer when they're out in the town / city.
I'm not sure what to do, So i'd like to ask everyone your opinions.

1. What makes you feel unsafe when you're in town?
2. What makes you feel safer? (Something that isn't happening right now- i.e. police patrols)

1. What makes you feel unsafe when you're in town?
What makes me feel unsafe when i'm in town is all the gang's & group's hanging around & when you hear about all the shooting's & stabbings you can't really trust anybody when you step outside your door.
2. What makes you feel safer? (Something that isn't happening right now- i.e. police patrols)
The only thing that make's me feel safe is my family & friend's as i know i can trust them & they would'nt exactually try to stab or shoot me so family & they make me feel safe. ;)

Answer: All the gangs and crime what has been happening in my area

Answer: Friends because they are always their and also the Police because they patrol my area at night.

I haven't got fear in them to be honest. My pockets are quite deep down, and a little tight. Good luck is all I say.

The stories on the news about people being bashed.. Or drunk people, some are scary!

I think that hanging around mates makes me feel safer tbh.. And there are almost no police patrols in my area, its too out of the city!

Groups of chavs? most have knives thinking they're all big. also this freaky hobo guy in my town centre. damn he's weird
2. What makes you feel safer?
being with friends/family. and i feel safer if its in the day, not at night :)
