Yeah jeans and hoody is a bit 2001 but what's wrong with just getting some nice quality casualwear rather than jumping into the indie pool and having a swim with Pyroka&co

You can get leggings anywhere - Topshop, Primark, New Look, Miss Selfridge.
I think skirts and leggings look nice. I hardly ever wear jeans, I always wear dresses or long t shirts with tights or leggings and pumps.

Gem.

I wouldn't bother with leggins.
I think people look trashy in them (no offence meant).

Just go shopping with enough money and just go into shops you wouldn't normally and just try on things that you like, but are a bit different. If you go shopping with someone who is really like "I LOVE SHOPPING" they should try on loads of clothes, so try and get a simmilar amount of clothes to try on as them and ask each others opinions on what you're trying on!!!

I basically live in jeans and hoodies, don't join the modern fashion! There are few of us jean and hoodie girls left!

But if you HAVE to river island usually has some nice stuff in ;)

personally, i really hate jeans, wearing them and seeing people wear them (girls, i mean)
theyre so boring.. and it just makes you look like a 10 year old.

I haven't seen many 10 year olds wear them to be fair. They usually wear tracky bottoms and a sports shirt or something. Rarely see 10 year olds in jeans.

Why does everyone go to primark??
Their clothes break within a few minutes and are really bad quality.

I would suggest going to New Look, West One, Tammy (In Bhs) or any other shop you like the look of. TK Max is really good too- lots of designer stuff is really cheap.

And so what if clothes are last year? If they look good, then who cares?

I get what you're saying and I agree with it. It is very much a younger way of dressing. I wear it because knowing me I'd make some serious fashion mistake, at least I'm safe with jeans and a top or hoody!

If you're lucky some things from primark last!
I tend not to go in there much anymore, I can never find anything nice amongst the masses of things piled up, it's just too much work!

i agree. personally, i prefer someone having their own personal style rather than follow the trend.

lush i'd wear that if I were a girl

and yeah Leah buy stuff you'll look good in, not stuff that everyone else is wearing because as much as people argue that fashion is about following a set of rules it really isn't, just wear stuff that looks good

having said that some 'rules' can look okay on most people aslong as you're not fat, for example dressing twee works for most girls

that dress is cute!

but you should get yourself a two-toned dress...
or like high-waisted shorts?
but that skirt with the hem is quite cute... but the hem is too delicate lols

you could venture from the jeans and hoodies aswell. like a ribbed vest with some denim hot pants or a vest with a skirt?
river island have some cute skirts hehe!
hope this helps?
