Recently, HxHD has been a lot more active. Every time I've gone online there have always been people in there. I went in at 1AM last night and there was still an active discussion going on, admittedly with limited people but that's not the point.
There was a point when I think HxHD should have been discontinued because hardly anyone went there. This is no longer the case and I'm delighted you kept it open because it's playing dividends now. It's great to see that it can still be one of the most popular rooms on Habbo.
However, HFFM still have a much more active lounge. Not because it's a bigger fansite because of the atmosphere. You don't get kicked constantly for a bit of swearing. The swearing filter is there for a reason if people are either too young or don't want to see swearing, they don't have to. If it was just a little more laid back then it'd be fantastic.
Keep up the good work guys :eusa_clap
Edit by Sammeth. (Asst. General Manager): Thread closed to prevent further arguments.
I agree. Its great fun to go in there now, as you know alot of people are there and it is active.

In the rulebook staff are only instructed to kick people for swearing at people etc, rather than just swearing in general, so I'll get Leah to check that one out.
I agree HxHD has come on leaps and bounds. It was around 2:00am the other night and I thought "perfect no one will be there so I can change the layout back" but it was still quite full. It was nice to see.

you're allowed to swear in hxhd lol aslong as it's not directed at anyone which is a good decision, you don't want people being turned off by the abuse people give, Hffm looks unprofessional and childish in that sense. Agreed though, I think it's because the "easter brats" as David would call them haven't been in for a while so it's much friendlier despite the odd 1 or 2 clones that are there to mock others but they've been ignored and haven't been back.

I agreee very active
We dont kick for swearing, we kick for abuse, some people may disagree sometimes on what we call abuse. But we only kick people who are disobeying the rules.

but then hffm brings a lot more well known people in and it's a better atmosphere. i like to see a bit of controversy in hxhd because it spicens things up. and yeah i know the rule but when paul was in there he said "ive got bad word lag" and was kicked.

As Jen said, we only kick who constantly direct bad language at someone. I agree everyone seems to be more active, early in the mornings and late at nights! Management and SS are also a bit more laid back with the rules aswell, as you all seem to have wanted.
Much better :)

I agree it's been much better since my fabulous presence and that is clearly what's done it. Also some GENIUS decided on a jukebox and changing the unpopular "rule 6" which basically did let staff kick whoever they didn't like, so yeah I'd say it's much improved in the past few weeks

Exactly what Jen said aha, we don't kick people for swearing only when they're rude and direct bad language at others.

I went to visit in the first time for ages on friday and considering it was 23.30 on a friday night :eusa_shif there were still people there to talk to a loser like me :)
Oh and it was nice that people who worked there said a friendly 'hello' which never used to happen before or maybe it was because some of them remembered me from before meh it was still nice :D

To be fair the helpdesk start getting popular when that thread was made about helpdesk a week or so ago, i think that thread attracted alot of the forum users, so even though it was a heated discussion i suppose some good came out of it and i totally agree if the staff were more relaxed it would be fantasic, i can understand some of the staff want too be as professional as they possibly can but i don't think that really works, the staff do get on well with most people who go to the helpdesk but if they were to speak to people like they would speak too a friend rather than speaking to them like they are an infant or as if they are in the wrong all the time, it would be brilliant.

I've never seen staff speaking down on people really. We are only firm when people break rules :P

Richie, staff don't talk to people as if they are infants. They're professional, if you say to someone "yo mate don't be rude" they aren't going to listen or take you seriously.

So when I made my thread with the aim being to improve the desk and was greeted upon entry by all the staff present going "OH LOOK TOM WE'RE WORKING" for the next few days, that wasn't talking down to me? I'm not going to bother expecting much more because I know that you are a load of kids and not trained adults in a real job, but you shouldn't make claims that aren't true.

I did not mean it like that, i mean sometimes when im in there some of your staff speak to me like there better than me, even if i did nothing wrong, i do agree that there professional skills should be put into action if someone is breaking the rules, but it seems like your staff are always on guard lol, i would just like to remind people it is Habbo, a virtual game, not the army so chillax.

I never see them talk down to you or anyone else, I see them being polite which is a positive thing surely? HxHD is a good way of bringing new people to habbox so staff being polite and attentive to them IS what I want to see. I'm sure they're aware of what habbo is however, if rules weren't enforced i'm sure someone would make a complaint to state this because they should be enforced in the most politest manner possible. If you feel that you are being talked down to then I can only advice you to PM me with evidence of this, however I never see this occur.
I don't see why a positive thread is being tinted with negativity by the same members as last time, it's quite aparant that some people bare a grudge.

I wonder what members you might be on about there... and who you might be wrong about again. With regards to myself, I said there was a big improvement in the department so I'm hardly being negative for the hell of it, I just don't think claims should be made that aren't true and sought to give an example of why I don't agree with them. I even said at the end that I didn't expect anyone to act like mature professionals, so clearly not trying to be negative. Grudges aren't something I do.

I wasn't refering to you. In most posts you make you back up your opinion and often offer suggestions about how things can be improved - that's what feedback is about.

Me neither (bar one member of staff but in my eyes said person doesn't exist), therefore DarkEnemy, you know nothing, now scuttle on home :)
I agree, HxHD is working well. I think everybody, staff & visitors are putting a little bit extra in to prove to everyone that HxHD is something special. I've been sat in there on clones all week just watching & it's been a nice environment for all.
The only problem that remains is the trouble that sometimes kicks off.. however I've been speaking to Leah and there are ways around this and I'm pretty sure in the near future I don't think anybody will be mentioning HFFM or CH lounges, cause HxHD will be the place to be on top of the help centre list :)

DarkEnemy.
If you have a problem with specific members of staff at Habbox Help Desk please write a formal complaint to either Leaah (http://www.habboxforum.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=45643) or Bomb-Head (http://www.habboxforum.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=22520) and your issue will be investigated with severe integrity.
However, please do take your time on the formal complaint because if a formal complaint doesn't make sense it will just be deleted. For a passage of text to make sense, usually it must have minimal if any grammatical errors :)

Nvrspk4 is very busy so I don't see why you would burden him with something when it can be dealt with by David or Josh and myself (seeing as it's our job to do so). Sam looks after the community departments so you could CC him with the complaint but he'd only discuss it with me,Josh and David anyway like Oli said. :S

You couldn't be more wrong.
Bomb-Head is the Assistant General Manager (Staff)
It is HIS responsibility to ensure staff are sticking to the rule book. That's what he is employed to do.
Sammeth's responsibility is working with department managers to ensure the Habbox Community are getting a satisfactory service from Habbox.
Nvrspk4 has many responsibilities and I doubt he will be putting a complaint about a staff member above ensuring the financial side of Habbox is A-OK and communicating with department managers to find any major issues going on at the moment.
Of course if your complaint is about Leah or :Mobile, go ahead and complain to Nvrspk4, but I doubt very much that it is.
So stop trying to think you are big, after all we are only saving you time.

I totally agree with what you say about the filter. When I was HxHD Manager the filter had just been introduced and alot of people asked for the rule to be lifted. At the time I consulted with Dan2nd and ---MAD--- and they said the exact same reasons as did I as what you said Jake. The other day someone said that was the worst thing that could have ever happened. But the desk is meant to be more relaxed, if people werent kicked so often for swearing they wouldnt do it as much because they know they can do it, where as if they cant then they want to.
+ to what you said about making complaints about managers I am sure that you can send them to B-H aswell, I know once when I made a complaint when nvrspk was the staff agm I sent him a complaint about a member of managment.

Again, people aren't kicked for swearing, they are kicked for swearing at people, and that is after warning too. If someone swears it's okay aslong as it isn't aimed at someone else because it's considered rude and can often cause arguments.

Yeah I know what your saying but the staff jump on people too much. It happens in every other room, ye, it should be controlled or moderated what ever you want to say but it should be more relaxed. If it 'does' cause arguments then people can be kicked etc but it seems silly to warn people when they are rude to other people, it happens on Habbo and in real life. You cant wrap everyone up in cotton wool, and yes I know there is the reputation of the desk but i'm sure after a while it would die down and become the norm.
