Yay, love for BBC Iplayer! Unlike the ITV iplayer which just seems to play advert after advert for me without buffering the actual show! :(

BBC Iplayer + HD = brilliant :D

Any idea what sort of internet connection you'll need for this?

Can't wait for this, some of it seems rather poor quality atm so it should be much better.

Doesnt sound like you were admitting to being wrong, and we didnt say anything about your dad working for sky. Also what has that got to do with the BBC, for all we know you dad would supply the cables for them?

Calm down ladies.

HD streams are of no use to me because AOL provide the world's worst connection. I tried watching cnet tv in HD and enjoyed it for about 10 seconds. Its nice for the people with decent internet though.

The actual quality depends on how they define "HD", its a term that's banded about so much it doesn't really have any strict definition.

HD would be 720p screen resolutions and above would be my guess. They should be more specific like "Full HD" then you know its 1920x1080.

I'm gunna guess they will stream in 720p like YouTube do.

This is going to be awesome hopefully a 20mb connection will do to buffer it nicely untill Virign Media arrive on the 29th to install my 50mbs.
